When it comes to the playoffs, big-time players need to make big-time plays. Jaxon Smith-Njigba has terrorized defenses all season, and it’s more of the same in the NFC Championship. The Seahawks star is going to be in the nightmares of the Rams’ secondary after his dominant first half.
NFL World Praises Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s Electric Performance
Smith-Njigba is doing everything he can to get the Seahawks into the Super Bowl. He’s got a good shot at winning the Offensive Player of the Year, and tonight he’s shown why.
He had seven catches, 115 yards, and a touchdown in the first half. Give him the ball. That’s the formula to win the game.

The ‘Bussin’ With The Boys’ official X account was at the ready to give Smith-Njigba his crown.
“JSN is the best WR in football,” they wrote.

It’s hard to argue with this take after the performance he’s putting up. He ranks 2nd in PFSN’s WR Impact Metric behind Puka Nacua, who is also making his mark on the NFC Championship. It’s pointless to argue who is better because they are both dominant and absolute nightmares to game-plan for.
“JSN is a demon lol,” said NFL analyst Brett Kollman.

The Seahawks went back to Smith-Njigba in the third quarter for two catches for 24 yards and is up to 139 total on the day. Colin Cowherd had immense praise for Smith-Njigba and went as far as calling Smith-Njigba an all-time great with how easy he makes it look.
“The all time great ones make difficult look so easy. That’s JSN,” said Cowherd.

Chad Ochocinco knows something about playing wide receiver in the NFL. He tweeted “JSN” with a fire emoji.

More former players took their chance to sing JSN’s praises.
“JSN, Boy you are a fool with it!” said former Steeler Ryan Clark.
Dez Bryant chimed in, too. “That’s CRAZY JSN!” wrote the Cowboys legend.
The Seahawks are going to get Smith-Njigba involved at every opportunity. They have to do it because the Rams offense is going to score. It’s inevitable that the Rams will score because of their talent, but the Seahawks have the pieces to match them, and Smith-Njigba is the guy who needs to do it.
