NFL Inactives Today: Bills-Jaguars Injury Report, Latest on Josh Allen and Dalton Kincaid, Starting Lineups for Wild Card Round

Here are the players who will be inactive today when the Buffalo Bills travel to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Wild Card round.

One of the most anticipated matchups of the entire playoff bracket is going to be between the Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The reigning MVP will take on maybe the hottest team in the entire league with a quarterback who has been playing the best football of his career.

For the first time in his career, though, Josh Allen will be going on the road in the Wild Card round, which should give some level of doubt about the outcome of the game. After a gruelling regular season, neither team is coming into the matchup fully healthy, so here are the players on the inactive list and the ones who will be starting for both squads.

Inactive List for Jaguars and Bills

Perhaps the biggest sigh of relief from the injury report has to come from the Bills camp. After both Josh Allen and Dalton Kincaid were ailing heading into the final week of the season, an extended rest should have them raring to go in Jacksonville.

  • LG Cooper Hodges
  • WR Dyami Brown
  • RB DeeJay Dallas
  • OL Cole Van Lanen
  • TE Hunter Long
  • DL Emmnauel Ogbah

A remarkable season for the Jaguars under rookie head coach Liam Coen has them firing on all cylinders at just the right time of the year. Winning eight straight en route to this game, they have been bludgeoning everyone put in front of them, including two playoff teams in the Los Angeles Chargers and the Denver Broncos.

They’ll try to continue that momentum this week behind a surging Lawrence and an opportunistic defense that ranks inside the top-10 on PFSN’s Defense Impact.

Buffalo Bills

Offense:

Defense:

Special teams:

  • PK Matt Prater
  • P, H Mitch Wishnowsky
  • PR Khalil Shakir
  • KR Ray Davis
  • LS Reid Ferguson

With no Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, or Joe Burrow in the playoff bracket, this is a golden opportunity for Allen to go on a run and finally overcome the AFC hurdle. However, a red-hot Jaguars team isn’t going to be an easy threat to cross.

The biggest advantage, though, for the reigning MVP and the team as a whole is the substantial edge they have when it comes to experience in the postseason, where Allen has suited up in 13 games, compared to just two for Lawrence.
