Bills’ Damar Hamlin Gets Heat From NFL Fans

After making the play, Hamlin mocked Sanders’ iconic watch celebration, which he’s done throughout his career at both the college and NFL levels.

Needless to say, some NFL fans didn’t like what Hamlin did.

One fan had some words for Hamlin: “You’re a veteran at this point. Throwing up ‘the watch’ is WILDLY corny. But then again, when you are a MID player, you do anything to get noticed.”

One more fan didn’t think Hamlin would even make the Bills’ final roster after the preseason ends. The fan wrote, “He Won’t Even Make The Team. Make-A-Wish (expletive) Roster Spot.”

Another fan wasn’t giving Hamlin any credit for making a spectacular play: “Acting like you did read the route and int the ball when the receiver just dropped the ball is hilarious.”

Disrespecting Sanders didn’t sit well with this NFL fan who wrote, “Don’t ever disrespect SS2 again damar”.

Well, this fan doesn’t even think Hamlin will see time with the Bills and labeled preseason as the safety’s Super Bowl. The fan wrote on X, “That Bozo ain’t playing a regular season game; this is his Super Bowl.”

Well, this fan saw what Hamlin did on the field and decided to post a one-word response after seeing it: “Lame.”

As for this NFL fan, seeing Hamlin pick that pass off gave the fan another look at what the Bills’ defensive back did after making that interception. The fan wrote, “He happened to be in the right place at the right time after a 5th string TE didn’t catch the ball. Took no effort. (expletive) up.”

A betting content creator named Wyatt Wilburt saw the play and wrote, “That needs to be a 35-yard excessive taunting penalty and automatic ejection.”

Hamlin might be battling for a roster spot in Buffalo, but his interception off of Sanders will not go unnoticed by the Bills’ coaches.
