As Fantasy Football drafts are in full swing ahead of the new NFL season, fantasy players are always looking for that next draft steal in the late rounds to win their league. Often, the key is finding a hidden gem that has been overlooked. We may have found just the guy.
Browns’ Electric WR Backed As Must Pick In Fantasy Football
In a segment on Pro Football Network’s “The Hot List,” Jacob Infante provided his top 5 must-picks for the middle to late rounds, and the number one spot belongs to a receiver selected in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.
Despite catching passes from one of the least inspiring quarterback duos in the league, Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders, this shouldn’t deter you from drafting KC Concepcion of the Browns to your fantasy team, argues Jacob Infante. In his list, he ranks the receiver as number 1.
Infante feels he has a straightforward route to the number one receiver job, as the only ones standing in his way are the inconsistent Jerry Jeudy and Denzel Boston, who was selected after him in the second round.

For fantasy purposes, Concepcion is seen as the ideal pick. He has elite speed that makes him a threat to take it to the house at any moment. Plus, he can be used in multiple different ways, including in the backfield. He showed this with a 14-yard touchdown run in the opening preseason game, in their 34-10 loss to the Chicago Bears. He also had 3 receptions for 27 yards. Infante described his performance as “absolutely electric.”
Infante also adds, “His ADP is 130.4. I look at that, and I’m taking that chance all day, every day.” Plus, he should be productive, judging by his college stats, he argues: “KC averaged over 70 receiving yards per game during his time at Texas A&M last year. He was also quite productive at NC State before that.”

According to PFN’s CFB WR Impact Metric, Concepcion posted an impact score of 81.5 last year, ranking as the 20th-best wideout in the nation.

With that in mind, Infante’s hot take is that Concepcion has a real path to a 1,000-yard receiving season for the Browns.
Nevertheless, he does acknowledge the questionable quarterback situation he faces.
“Granted, he doesn’t have elite quarterback play; it’s gonna be Shedeur Sanders or Deshaun Watson; neither of those are necessarily inspiring options,” Infante added. “But it’s the NFL, you’re gonna throw the ball no matter who your quarterback is, so KC is gonna get his fair share of targets. I think he’s somebody who could absolutely be a steal late in your fantasy drafts.”
To his point, with an ADP of 130.4, he is a low-risk, high-reward option if available in the mid to late rounds, depending on how your draft shakes out. It would be wise to bank on his versatility and electric speed to transform an offense badly in need of a playmaker, and thus give your fantasy team an edge.
