After a whole year of watching rumors circulate, it feels like the Tyreek Hill trade market has quietened down. However, as the sports world has shown us, every player is available for the right price, even one who is on a surefire Hall of Fame trajectory in his career.
As a result, one analyst has come up with a league-altering three-team deal that involves Hill as well as a former fifth overall pick to give the Miami Dolphins some cap flexibility while improving a middling defense.

Could Wild Trade Finally Entice the Miami Dolphins To Move On From Tyreek Hill?
The last time Hill was traded, it was one of the most shocking deals in modern NFL history when the Kansas City Chiefs shipped him to Miami. Thankfully, the move has been beneficial for both squads.
While the Chiefs have been to three-straight Super Bowls and won back-to-back in 2022 and 2023, Hill racked up two consecutive seasons of 1,700 receiving yards. However, the 2024 season was a downer for the eight-time Pro Bowler.
Tallying under 1,000 yards for the first time this decade, the injury to Tua Tagovailoa pushed his numbers down, leading to a fiery exit interview that many pegged as a potential foreshadowing of a trade to come.

From the looks of it, the two sides have mended their relationship. But Brent Sobleski of Bleacher Report, in his list of blockbuster three-team trades, explained a move that involved the Dolphins, the Arizona Cardinals, and the New York Giants.
In exchange for Hill, Miami could walk away with edge rusher and former fifth overall pick, Kayvon Thibodeaux, while New York adds Jonah Williams to their offensive line. The move is a clear attempt at a win-now timeline for Arizona.
Sobleski explained, “The Arizona Cardinals currently have the fifth-most salary-cap space still remaining, while a deal could include reworked contracts for the wide receiver in future years, particularly while Marvin Harrison Jr. operates under his rookie deal.”
With no divisional title wins in a decade and one playoff appearance in that timeframe, Arizona needs to change something about itself, and Cheetah could be that change incarnate. For a team still a ways away on defense, going all-in on the offense could power a postseason push.
And it doesn’t get better than a trio of Kyler Murray, Harrison, and Hill. For Miami, it is all about improving a defense that remains on the outside of the top 10 of PFSN’s Defense+ metric, something that continually holds them back from deep playoff runs.
As a result, Thibodeaux could become available, especially because the Giants drafted Abdul Carter. With all three teams addressing or improving key areas, there is a possibility that they will all emerge as winners in the long term from this move.
