The 2025 NFL season is creeping up, and people are preparing their predictions for the upcoming year. After the conclusion of the draft and the start of OTAs, fans and evaluators now have a sense of what teams are going to look like.
One popular activity is predicting the eventual Super Bowl winners. One NFL analyst predicts the champions to be a team known for getting oh so close, but never actually winning it all.

Buffalo Bills Predicted to Win the Super Bowl
Sports Illustrated senior writer Conor Orr posted his 100 bold predictions for the 2025 NFL season. His first one saw the Buffalo Bills win the Super Bowl over the Philadelphia Eagles. Orr has the Eagles making the Super Bowl due to the ability to overcome tough schedules in the past, while the Bills have an easy schedule to put them in a position to be healthy and dominate in the most important games.

“Predicting the Eagles will return to the big game is a begrudging move on my part,” Orr wrote, “but it’s a recognition that nearly all of the NFC front-runners have brutal schedules. Philadelphia is the one team that can handle the rigors of such a slate and win ugly consistently enough to make the dance.
“Meanwhile, the Bills have an amenable schedule that includes the Browns, Falcons, Panthers, and Saints, as well as multiple cracks at the bottom rung of the AFC East. This slate will keep Josh Allen healthy and in berserker mode for the playoffs when Buffalo needs him most.”
Orr also would go on and predict that quarterback Josh Allen would win Super Bowl LX MVP. This would be a significant leap for the team that has not been able to overcome the Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason since Patrick Mahomes arrived in the league.
Allen has a 7-6 record in the playoffs throughout his career. In these games, he has completed 302 of 460 (65.7%) passes for 3,359 yards with 25 passing touchdowns to four interceptions. He has also added 112 rushing attempts for 668 yards (6.0 yards per carry) with seven rushing touchdowns. He even managed a 16-yard touchdown reception as a receiver!

The Bills have some question marks throughout their roster. Running back James Cook is skipping the beginning of voluntary OTAs as he is searching for a new contract.
Even if the Chiefs take a step back this season, the top of the AFC is difficult with the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans in the mix to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.
