The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2026 is fairly stacked across the board. Headlined by the likes of Amar’e Stoudemire and Candace Parker, the class will be etched in the annals of basketball history.

Amar’e Stoudemire
Stoudemire spent 14 years in the NBA and accomplished a lot. He started his NBA journey off with a bang, winning Rookie of the Year. He then went on to make six All-Star teams and five All-NBA teams.
He averaged a solid 18.9 points and 7.8 rebounds over the course of his career while shooting 53.7% from the field.
While he never won an NBA championship, his cultural impact on the Suns and on the Knicks was more than enough to propel him into Hall of Fame consideration and subsequent induction.

Candace Parker
Parker played 16 seasons in the WNBA and averaged 16 points and 8.5 rebounds a night. Her career began with her winning both the Rookie of the Year and the WNBA’s MVP honors.
Her accomplishments include two MVP awards, three championships, and 10 All-WNBA selections. This HOF induction was a long time coming.
Elena Delle Donne
Donne also played in the WNBA until the 2023 season and announced her retirement in 2025. She played 10 seasons, averaging 19.5 points and 6.7 rebounds, and won two MVP awards en route to carving out her HOF career.
She was voted as one of the top 25 WNBA players of all time and won the championship in 2019 to go along with her MVP awards and five All-WNBA selections.
Chamique Holdsclaw
While Holdsclaw retired in 2010, the Hall of Fame has finally decided to honor her by inducting her this year.
She finished top-10 in MVP voting six times throughout her career, won Rookie of the Year in 1999, was a 6x All-Star, and was the scoring champion in 2002. She averaged 19.9 points that year.
Her career averages are 16.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game across her 11-year career.

Doc Rivers
Rivers last coached the Milwaukee Bucks and called time on his decorated career this year. He won Coach of the Year in 2000 as a rookie coach while with the Orlando Magic.
He led the Boston Celtics to a championship in 2008 and ranks 6th all-time in regular-season coaching wins (1,194 victories). He was also named sa one of the top 15 coaches of all time.

Mark Few
Few holds a stunning 83.2% winning rate as a head coach in college basketball. His record is 773–156, and he has secured 27 consecutive NCAA tournament berths with Gonzaga.
He has also led the Bulldogs to two National Championship games (2017 and 2021). He was the AP Coach of the Year in 2017 and the Naismith Coach of the Year in 2017 and ’21.
Joey Crawford
Crawford is one of the most recognizable professional basketball referees of all time. He officiated in the NBA for 39 seasons from 1977 to 2016.
He officiated a record 2,561 regular-season games, 374 playoff games, and 50 NBA Finals games. He also worked every single NBA Finals from 1986 to 2015 (he missed 2007 due to suspension).
Mike D’Antoni
D’Antoni is being inducted into the Hall of Fame via the via the Contributors Committee. He is being recognized as the pioneer of the ‘7 seconds or less’ offense with the Phoenix Suns.
The former Suns, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, and Houston Rockets head coach also snagged 672 coaching wins in the regular season, and won two Coach of the Year awards (2005 and 2017).
1996 United States Women’s National Team
The 1996 United State Women’s Olympics roster went undefeated at the Atlanta Olympic Games, winning all eight of its games.
The U.S. team won every game by a comfortable margin and started an ongoing streak of the nation winning the gold medal at every Olympics since.
Their success was also the catalyst for the WNBA’s formation. The W had its inaugural season in 1997, a year after this squad’s historic run.
