Wilson didn’t hide her excitement as Adebayo kept rewriting the record books. She later joined the Heat star during his postgame interview and shared an emotional reaction to the performance.
“God is really just really special for him and God doesn’t play about Bam,” Wilson said while reflecting on the unforgettable night.

As Adebayo crossed the 60-point mark before the fourth quarter even began, Wilson posted another excited reaction: “60 in three quarter?!?!?!? Yesssirrrrr.”
After the game ended and the historic numbers were finalized, Wilson added a playful message acknowledging how the performance had reshaped the household scoring leaderboard.
“Welp won’t have the highest career high in the house anymore but at least it gives me something to go after,” she wrote.

Before Tuesday night, Adebayo’s NBA career high stood at 41 points. He shattered that mark in spectacular fashion against Washington.
The Heat star finished the night with a jaw-dropping stat line of 83 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. Adebayo also added 20-of-43 from the field and 36-of-43 from the free-throw line.
His 83-point performance now ranks as the second-highest scoring game in NBA history, trailing only the legendary Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point night in 1962.
Interestingly, Wilson previously held the higher single-game scoring mark between the two. The WNBA reigning MVP’s career high sits at 53 points on 16-of-23 shooting with 7 rebounds, which remains tied for the highest single-game scoring performance in WNBA history.
