The former Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett’s move to the Los Angeles Rams has arguably been the biggest move of this offseason. While most fans and analysts are thrilled about the news, some speculated about Garrett’s girlfriend, Chloe Kim’s, involvement in the whole process.
After Garrett opened up about his connection to the city, one of them being that it’s where Kim is from, it made fans’ suspicions about her orchestrating the whole trade even more concrete.
Chloe Kim Playfully Dismisses Her Role in Myles Garrett’s Trade to Rams
Garrett and Kim have been setting hardcore couple goals for fans ever since they made their relationship official, whether it’s the Rams star cheering her on at the Olympics or them sharing heartwarming pictures on social media.
As the rumors of Kim’s role in the trade to Rams made waves on the internet, the popular Olympian first poked fun at the trend with a TikTok of her sharing what she said in her hypothetical meetings to make the Garrett-to-Rams trade happen, using “all the power” she apparently holds because she snowboards and has some “cute medals.”
Kim then clarified in the caption that the fans have been giving her too much credit since she also found out about it right before it went public:
“I’ve been giggling at these rumors the last couple of days because you guys are giving me TOO MUCH CREDIT. 😭” Kim wrote in the caption. “I found out right before it was publicized and was planning to show up and support him wherever he ended up. But I genuinely can’t believe this is happening and am so excited to show him around my city. Go Rams! 💙”
The couple will now be living in the same city as Garrett shared in his introductory press conference. “Chloe, her being from here and us being in the same city is obviously something that I love and appreciate.”

Kim also gave a shoutout to Garrett’s agent, Nicole Lynn, with a “you did that” comment after she posted several pictures of the new Rams star holding up his blue and yellow jersey.

In exchange for Garrett, the Browns got Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a 2029 third-round pick.
Kim and Garrett have been dating for about a year after meeting through one of their mutual friends, a physical therapist.
