Shedeur Sanders is one of the most hyped-up prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft and is widely projected to be among the first two QBs to go off the board. There have been some reports of Sanders coming off as “brash” and “arrogant,” and while NFL legend Michael Strahan acknowledged it, he advised the QB to show some humility.

Michael Strahan Advises Shedeur Sanders To Show Some Humility
NFL journalist Josina Anderson recently reported that a quarterback’s coach from a franchise picking in the top seven referred to Shedeur Sanders as coming off as “arrogant” and “brash” in his team interview. Several other reports also came out about Sanders’ unprofessional conduct, and Strahan advised the quarterback to show some humility.
He, however, praised the way he was raised and suggested that he was carrying on the demeanor of Deion Sanders but was yet to prove it.
“I think Deion’s given him all the best advice he can get and that’s why he’s in a position that he’s in,” Strahan said on Carmelo Anthony’s podcast “7 PM in Brooklyn.”
“I just think that once he comes into the league, he’s going to understand. I know he’s brash. He’s cocky, arrogant, he has that. There are some people who will try to knock you off that pedestal no matter how great you are. So, I think he’s gonna have to display at some point some humility.”
Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter? 🤔

Whether Sanders takes that advice remains to be seen, but his draft stock has seemingly slipped recently, with rumors connecting him heavily to the New Orleans Saints.
However, in PFSN’s latest three-round mock draft by Joe DeLeone, Sanders is projected to go second overall to the Cleveland Browns.
DeLeone wrote, “Deshaun Watson was a blatant and ugly mistake by the Browns. Having the second-overall pick allows for them to reset at QB with a very cheap contract and the opportunity to build a firmer foundation. While Cleveland hasn’t historically been successful, it doesn’t know the next time it’ll be picking this early with a shot at getting a high-floor starter like Sanders.”
At Colorado, Sanders was a transformational player. In two years, the program went from a one-win lowlight to a nine-win juggernaut. The Texas native was the orchestrator of the offense, putting up remarkable numbers even behind a struggling offensive line.
In the 2024 season, Sanders completed 74% of his passes for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns. He, however, was sacked 42 times, the most of any QB in the season, drawing comparisons with Cincinnati Bengals Joe Burrow.
