UCLA reached its first NCAA national championship game after defeating Texas, 51-44, in the Final Four. Senior Lauren Betts led the Bruins on both offense and defense, scoring 16 points and grabbing 11 rebounds with a 70% shooting percentage.

The 6-foot-7 center made a crucial block with 20 seconds remaining to keep UCLA ahead by three and prevent the Longhorns from getting a shot at their second national title, and first since 1986.

Auburn vs. Tulsa: Men’s NIT Final Matchup

While the national championship game between UConn and Michigan won’t tipoff until Monday night, the winner-take-all NIT matchup between No. 1 seeds Auburn and Tulsa will take place on Sunday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Matt Schumaker and Fran Fraschilla  will call the game.

Auburn is attempting to win its first NIT title and is coming off an 88-66 semifinal win over No. 4 seed Illinois State on April 2. Keyshawn Hall led the Tigers with 24 points, while Kevin Overton added 16 for the victory.

Tulsa narrowly beat New Mexico, 74-69, in the semifinal, with David Green leading the Golden Hurricane’s offense with 13 points. Ade Popoola scored 12 points, while Miles Barnstable added 11 for Tulsa, which held off New Mexico’s late rally to secure the win and a spot in the NIT final.

The finalists for the men’s NCAA Tournament national championship game are decided. The Final Four games were played on Saturday, with UConn defeating Illinois, 71-62, and Michigan overcoming Arizona, 91-73.
