Bryan Hodgson was one of the hottest names on the coaching market for teams in need of a new head coach. Hodgson was very successful in his one season at the University of South Florida and is now headed to the Big East to be the head coach at Providence. In his introductory press conference, he made sure to shout out his wife, Jordan, with a unique compliment to her and his own recruiting skills.
Who Is Bryan Hodgson’s Wife, Jordan Norris?
Hodgson’s wife is finding herself in the headlines after Hodgson gave her a compliment in front of all the cameras. During Hodgson’s first press conference for Providence, he gave a clear message to the Friar faithful. He can recruit great talent, and look no further than his wife, Jordan.
“If you ever wanna question my recruiting abilities just look at my wife Jordan,” Hodgson said.

His wife, Jordan Norris, graduated from the University of Alabama in December 2021. At that time, Hodgson was still an assistant coach for the Crimson Tide under head coach Nate Oats. It is unclear exactly when the couple started dating, but the two are now married.
Norris and Hodgson have a child together, Jett Hodgson, born in 2024.

Norris is relatively out of the mainstream media but posts on social media with her husband and son. Hodgson’s witty comment, though, has thrust Norris into the spotlight. Hodgson gave her the ultimate compliment when trying to win over the Providence fan base with his sense of humor.
MARCH MADNESS: Fill In Your Bracket Now!
There’s no doubt that Hodgson can recruit on the court after putting together top classes while at Alabama as an assistant. He helped build Arkansas State into a great team in his first two seasons as a head coach and did the same in his only season at USF, leading the Bulls to their first tournament berth in over a decade.
Hodgson is making it to the big stage in the Big East, and plenty of eyes will be on him to turn around a floundering Providence program. The Friars had high expectations in basketball and didn’t live up to them during the Kim English era. Now, it’s on Hodgson to bring them back to the tournament with Norris right by his side.
