Some feel that the expansion might water down the prestige and entertainment value that the current NCAA Tournament format provides.

KSR host Drew Franklin also shared that he was not a fan of the proposed changes to the NCAA Tournament.

The proposed expansion would add eight more games to the NCAA Tournament slate, with 24 teams participating in the play-in round. The remaining 52 teams will still have to win six games to win the national championship.
