    WR Injury Updates

    Marquise Brown, WR, Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray might have to be without his WR1, Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, in the Arizona Cardinals’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week. Brown is currently the WR34 on the season and has yet to find his groove offensively in this challenging season for Arizona.

Brown is dealing with a heel injury and has not practiced all week. However, head coach Jonathan Gannon told the media on Friday that the wide receiver was “trending in the right direction” for Sunday. He has been listed as questionable.

Brown had a decent finish in Week 12, with six catches on 12 targets for 88 yards. If he cannot go on Sunday, expect TE Trey McBride (if he himself is active) and Greg Dortch to see an increase in targets. The matchup is decent for WRs, so fantasy managers should keep an eye on the news to see if Brown is good to go.

    Tank Dell, WR, Houston Texans

The rookie sensation Dell has been winning fantasy managers’ matchups left and right, catching passes from the incredibly talented C.J. Stroud. However, he is listed as questionable heading into Week 13 with a calf issue. It seems that Dell hurt the calf sometime during the Week 12 loss to Jacksonville.

Dell missed practice on Wednesday but was upgraded to limited on Thursday and Friday. Head coach DeMeco Ryans has suggested that he is optimistic about Dell being available this week, but managers will have to wait until inactives are released 90 minutes before the game.

The Texans are dealing with a lot of injuries. TE Dalton Schultz has been ruled out for Sunday, and WR Noah Brown is also questionable.

    Noah Brown, WR, Houston Texans

As mentioned, Brown is also dealing with an injury in Houston. He is questionable to play against Denver with a knee issue. He was limited in practice on Thursday and has not played since Week 10 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

On Thursday, offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik mentioned how tough it is at this point in the season for both Brown and Dell.

“I mean, like everybody, that’s kind of working through some stuff when you get to the middle of the season — they’re grinding. They’re out there. They’re putting their best foot forward, doing everything they can to make sure that they’re 1,000% ready to go on Sunday, and we can use them in that way.”
