Now, former NFL star Marcellus Wiley is providing fans with insight into how these NFL hookups tend to go down. Wiley is a former Pro Bowler and All-Pro selection who played for four different teams in the NFL across 10 seasons. Transitioning to a media role, he’s held multiple positions at ESPN, Fox Sports, and FS1.
Wiley is currently a podcast host, and on the latest episode of “Hydration Situation,” he broke down the situation between Vrabel and Russini.
“A lot of these relationships come out of convenience. They don’t come out of, like, connection,” Wiley said. “They don’t even come out of the connection of physical attraction or emotional attraction. None of that. Wiley explained that it’s like any other workplace relationship where you’re spend a ton of time with the same people day after day, so people develop feelings.
“I ain’t even that attracted to you, but I keep seeing you everywhere,” Wiley explained. “My antenna goes up. Boom. Then, next thing you know, you’re in HR. Simple as that. It’s that simple.”
It’s unclear how Vrabel or Russini became close, as we know very little about their dynamic at this point. Regardless, this scandal has become a major story with significant consequences for both parties.
