After sitting out of Week 4’s Monday Night Football doubleheader, Eli and Peyton Manning are back in Week 5. The Kansas City Chiefs look to build off their momentum as they head to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars.
QB Patrick Mahomes has guided his team to two straight victories as TE Travis Kelce and company stare down the Jags’ No. 2 overall draft pick, Travis Hunter.

Will Eli and Peyton Manning Host the ManningCast for Week 5’s Chiefs vs. Jaguars Matchup?
The Chiefs started 0-2, which resulted in the first three-game losing streak of Mahomes’ career. From there, they took down the New York Giants, 22-9, and demolished the Baltimore Ravens, 37-20. At 2-2, HC Andy Reid would love to keep the winning streak going. Kansas City’s schedule isn’t getting any easier moving forward, but at least they know their next three games are at home.
As for the Jaguars, many would argue they should be 4-0. Jacksonville let one slip away from them in Week 2, the same game in which QB Joe Burrow was injured. The Bengals prevailed, 31-27. After that loss, the Jags racked up crucial victories over the Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers.
Heading into Week 5’s MNF matchup, Eli and Peyton should be in for a great game. Through the first four weeks, the Jaguars have a C+ in PFSN’s Offense Impact metric, just edging out the Chiefs and their C grade. Thankfully, the two won’t be alone as TMZ revealed a huge celebrity guest would be joining them.
Glen Powell Will Join Eli and Peyton on the ManningCast
Omaha Productions has been working closely with Powell as part of the “Chad Powers” series streaming on Hulu. The first two episodes have already been released, with a new episode coming out every Tuesday. Powell is the star of the Chad Powers series, one that NFL fans should immediately take a liking to. Some have called it the football version of Ted Lasso, which is arguably Apple TV’s greatest accomplishment.
Each week, Eli and Peyton are joined by anywhere from two to four guests. They’re seemingly never revealed until the day of, but TMZ knew that leaking this guest would bring a ton of new eyes to the product. Whether Powell’s fans enjoy football or not, they’ll be tuning in, regardless. In the end, it’s a win-win as it brings new eyes to not just the NFL, but his Chad Powers series as well.
