    Live from the 2020 Reese’s Senior Bowl: Thursday Practice Observations

    The third and final day of 2020 Senior Bowl practice gets underway today at 1:30 pm ET and PFN has all of the action covered with several draft analysts, including Tony Pauline, on-site in Mobile.

    The practice week will conclude today down in Mobile at the 2020 Senior Bowl. After two days of intense sessions, today is the final opportunity players will have to impress the throngs of NFL scouts in attendance prior to the actual game on Saturday from Ladd-Peebles Stadium. And just as we have all week long, Pro Football Network has you covered with several analysts and reports on the ground.

    PFN Draft Analyst and Insider Tony Pauline leads our coverage and will be joined by PFN draft analysts Matt Valdovinos, AJ Schulte, and Chris Spooner. In addition, PFN NFL Insider Benjamin Allbright and PFN contributors Cole Thompson, Bill Riccette, Tommy Call, and Chris Tripodi are all in Mobile as well to bring you the latest news and notes.

    Just as they did yesterday, the North squad will kick off the action today with the first practice of the day. They will take the field at 1:30 pm ET. That will be followed by the South team at 4 pm ET. Our live practice observations will get underway just before 1:30 pm ET

    5:51 pm ET: Very quiet Day 3 of practices concludes. A day where the XOS room will tell more than the last 2. – AJ Schulte

    5:47 pm ET: Florida WR Tyrie Cleveland is the first one up in the kickoff return category in this session. – Bill Riccette

    5:43 pm ET: Appalachian St. LB Akeem Davis-Gaither missed an interception and just did push-ups right next to me. – Bill Riccette

    5:42 pm ET: (Colorado QB Steven) Montez has made some throws but then he’s looked borderline undraftable. – Bill Riccette

    5:40 pm ET: Darnay Holmes got beat, turned around, and recovered for a phenomenal PBU. Physical play and fed the energy of the DB’s. – AJ Schulte

    5:40 pm ET: UCLA CB Darnay Holmes has been fun to watch, either making plays or just getting hyped up. – Bill Riccette

    5:36 pm ET: Penn St. LB Cam Brown has been doing it all this week. Rushing the passer, dropping into coverage, calling the plays. – Bill Riccette

    5:33 pm ET: Florida WR Van Jefferson just gets it. Goes up and makes every catch. – Bill Riccette

    5:25 pm ET: Justin Herbert just hit a perfect bullet to Texas WR Devin Duvernay. – Bill Riccette

    5:24 pm ET: St. John’s OL Ben Bartch limping off the field with the trainer. Difficult pill to swallow as he was doing excellent this week. – Matt Valdovinos

    5:14 pm ET: FAU TE Harrison Bryant just made a great end zone catch in a crowd. Really having a good week. – Tony Pauline

    5:08 pm ET: Oregon QB Justin Herbert dropping them in the bucket at the final Senior Bowl practice. Really looking sharp. – Tony Pauline

    5:05 pm ET: Texas WR Collin Johnson looking strong during the opening of South practice. Nice routes, great body control and dependable hands. – Tony Pauline

    5:00 pm ET: Texas Tech DT Broderick Washington has been added to the South roster. – Bill Riccette

    4:38 pm ET: Florida WR Van Jefferson and Texas WR Collin Johnson running well. – Bill Riccette

    4:21 pm ET: Justin Herbert has quick feet. Moving around well in these drills. – Bill Riccette

    3:35 pm ET: Michigan’s Khaleke Hudson got work at both strong safety and will linebacker. He said he loves being in the box. – Bill Riccette

    3:34 pm ET: Dayton TE Adam Trautman said his route running is very easy and fluid for him. Also said this is a tight end group where anyone can be the number one. – Bill Riccette

    3:32 pm ET: Southern Illinois DB Jeremy Chinn talked about his versatility this week, playing 1-high, playing man. Said he felt really good about his reps against guys like Mims and Gandy-Golden. – Bill Riccette

    3:17 pm ET: Auburn CB Javaris Davis is having a terrific day with several outstanding pass breakups. Sitting out the Shrine Game and playing in the Senior Bowl has turned in his favor. – Tony Pauline

    2:53 pm ET: Ohio State WR KJ Hill continues to impress. He has definitely improved his draft stock this week. – Tony Pauline

    2:52 pm ET: Michigan LB Josh Uche continues to look comfortable playing in space. – Tony Pauline

    2:50 pm ET: Wyoming LB Logan Wilson is having an excellent week. He really looks good in zone coverage and is showing he’s more than just a box linebacker. – Tony Pauline

    2:49 pm ET: Credit to QB Shea Patterson of Michigan. He is having his best Senior Bowl practice and has made a number of nice throws. – Tony Pauline

    2:48 pm ET: Continue to be impressed with WR James Proche of SMU. The guy runs scissor sharp routes and defenders cannot stay with him. – Tony Pauline

    2:45 pm ET: A bit of an unorthodox practice today with the weather. But it’s turning into another really good day for Baylor WR Denzel Mims. He’s shown incredible hand use to separate and is catching everything in sight. – Tony Pauline

    2:42 pm ET: Purdue TE Brycen Hopkins is really good. I’m thoroughly impressed. – Tommy Call

    2:41 pm ET: Quarterbacks Jordan Love and Shea Patterson with back to back bad interceptions to underneath coverage over the middle. – Brett Yarris

    2:29 pm ET: Feels like Notre Dame WR Chase Claypool has 10 touchdown catches today. – Tommy Call

    2:23 pm ET: Auburn DB Javaris Davis has had a pretty good showing so far today. – AJ Schulte

    2:20 pm ET: Wake Forest CB Essang Bassey is having a rough week. After allowing the Mims catch, he got beat badly by Antonio Gandy-Golden and KJ Hill. – AJ Schulte

    2:13 pm ET: Baylor WR Denzel Mims made another phenomenal one-handed grab in the corner of the end zone that generated a ton of applause; OBJ-like extension. He beat CB Essang Bassey on it. – AJ Schulte

    2:11 pm ET: USC WR Michael Pittman Jr isn’t suited up to practice. Just observing from the sideline. – AJ Schulte

    1:50 pm ET: Practice is slow to get started today in the indoor facility. – PFN Staff
