A complete breakdown of all Philadelphia Eagles set to hit free agency in 2026 and what it could mean for the team’s future.

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has proved time and time again to be one of the best in the business. However, 2025 has not shaped out how Philadelphia likely once hoped. Despite posting an 11-6 record and claiming the third seed in the NFC playoff picture, massive changes will need to be made this offseason.

Philadelphia Eagles 2026 Cap Space and Re-sign Candidates

Despite the Eagles having arguably the most talented roster in the NFL, Roseman has been precise with how he spends owner Jeffrey Lurie’s money. According to Spotrac, the Eagles currently have just over $22.1 million to spend this offseason.

Last summer, Philadelphia was forced to let go of many notable names. The list included star pass rushers Milton Williams and Josh Sweat, as well as offensive lineman Mekhi Becton and veteran cornerback Darius Slay. These sacrifices, however, allow the Eagles to spend this offseason.

Philadelphia’s top priorities for 2026 start with Dallas Goedert, Reed Blankenship, Jalen Philips, and Nakoba Dean. Each of these pieces contributed significantly to the Eagles’ Super Bowl in 2025, as well as this year’s regular season.

Between these four, expect the Eagles to keep at least two of them. Goedert recently posted a career-high in both receptions (60) and touchdowns (11) while ranking 16th on PFSN’s TE Impact metric. Having been an Eagle for now eight seasons, the Eagles will likely try to retain him.

Phillips is another name Philadelphia will push to extend. The Eagles acquired the 26-year-old during this past trade deadline, and he has been operating as one of the Eagles’ top EDGE rushers. Phillips ranks 24th on PFSN’s EDGE Impact and is in a prime position for a payday.

With Dean and Blankenship, the Eagles will face a difficult decision. Philadelphia drafted linebacker Jihaad Campbell in the first round of this year’s NFL draft. Campbell has played exceptionally well this season and may be viewed as a potential replacement for Dean. As for Blankenship, Roseman hasn’t shown a strong willingness to pay safeties in the past. With his proven ability to draft defensive backs, Blankenship may be on his way out.

It has not yet been revealed whether the Eagles are expected to make a big splash in free agency this offseason. Still, Roseman and his staff consistently find ways to improve around the margins, primarily through the draft.

With the playoffs finally having arrived, it will be interesting to see how their results shape their offseason strategy.
