Despite going down with a hamstring injury, many NFL fans have called out Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. Jackson, who was in the running for MVP last season, is off to a 1-3 start with the Ravens. Their defense has been horrendous, allowing 37+ points in all of their losses.
With the offense unable to keep up, many believe that Jackson’s Week 4 injury isn’t as severe as they made it out to be.
NFL Fans Put Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson On Blast After Week 4 Exit
Ian Rapoport confirmed that Jackson would undergo further testing to reveal the severity of his injury, but fans aren’t buying it. With how the Ravens have struggled this season, even after seeing Jackson throw his helmet in frustration, fans believe that Jackson’s injury was a non-factor.
“Lamar quit on his team yet Ravens fans somehow believe he will lead them to a super bowl,” this fan said.
Another spoke, “9/28/25. The day Lamar Jackson quit on his team.” Someone added, “So this is how they wrapped his serious injury [with a few laughing emojis], Lamar quit on the team, he wasn’t that injured lol.”
In the image the fan posted, Kansas City had a 30-13 lead with 1:06 remaining in the third quarter. At that point, it was already over. Whether Lamar was hurt or not, it’d make all the sense in the world for HC John Harbaugh to pull his QB as the last thing they want to do is risk further injury while sitting at 1-3.

“Lamar Jackson’s week 4 recap: Quit on his team, faking injuries, doing anything to protect that passer rating, blowout loss,” one fan said. Through four weeks, Jackson is fifth in PFSN’s QB Impact scale with a B grade.
Someone else chimed in, “Lamar quitting on his team after being down two TDs…. He’s is NOT Josh Allen. Cooper Rush time.” The comparison to Allen is likely in direct relation to last year’s MVP race.
This fan wrote, “Lamar really quit on his own team,” as many are in firm belief that the injury is not real. Someone took it very seriously, “Lamar tapped out man never mention this dude with the greats again,” as this fan echoed their statement, “Lamar tapped out and you can’t convince me otherwise.”
The 1-3 Ravens have their work cut out for them, but are far from out of it. If Rush makes the start in Week 5, he’ll have to do so against the Houston Texans. The Ravens await the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6 before enjoying a Week 7 Bye.
