Lady Gaga Thanks Bad Bunny After Being Included in Halftime Performance

Several stars made an appearance during Bad Bunny’s halftime show. These celebrities include Cardi B, Ricky Martin, Pedro Pascal, Karol G, Jessica Alba, and even Atlanta Braves star outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. However, none was as big as Lady Gaga’s surprise performance.

For her performance, Lady Gaga performed a Latin version of her song, “Die with a Smile”, which became the longest-reigning daily number one song in Spotify history, the fastest track to surpass three billion streams on the platform, and Spotify’s most-streamed song of 2025.

Lady Gaga spoke on her performance, in which she said the following:

“Thank you Benito for including me in this powerful, important, and meaningful performance. I am so humbled to be a part of this moment. It’s all the more special because it was with you and your beautiful heart and music. All my love to Benito, Ricky and the whole cast.”

This isn’t the first time Lady Gaga has performed at the Super Bowl; her last was in 2017 at Super Bowl 51. She played her top songs, including “Poker Face”, “Born This Way”, “Just Dance”, and “Bad Romance”.

Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny recently competed against each other at the Grammys, with both artists being nominated for Album of the Year, which went to Bad Bunny. She was seen tearing up when he won and even said the following about his win:

“I’m just so happy for him… What he means to people is so incredibly important. He is a brilliant musician and human being. He is so incredibly kind. What he said is so inspiring. What’s happening in this country is so heartbreaking and we are so lucky to have leaders like him speaking up for what’s right.”

Just like the Seahawks and the Patriots, Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny will go down in Super Bowl history.
