Every point matters as we approach the end of the fantasy regular season, and that includes kickers. Particularly in leagues that award extra points for 40- and 50-yard field goals, finding the right kicker to stream can make an important difference in a tight playoff race.
Below we take a look at a trio of kickers who would be strong streaming options for needy managers.
Spencer Shrader
Kansas City Chiefs (vs. LV)
Harrison Butker was one of the most widely rostered kickers in fantasy, making him one of the rare kicker injuries to resonate. With Butker on IR, his replacement Spencer Shrader has clear value for the duration of Butker’s absence.
Shrader has also kicked for the Indianapolis Colts and New York Jets this season. While the sample is small, he’s perfect so far, having gone 5/5 on field-goal attempts and 9/9 on extra-point attempts. That includes the game-winner in Sunday’s escape against the Carolina Panthers.

Now, he faces a leaky Las Vegas Raiders defense allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to kickers.
Shrader is still available in roughly 70% of ESPN and Yahoo leagues. So, while a handful of fantasy managers scooped him up right away, he’s still widely available ahead of a favorable matchup.
Jason Myers
Seattle Seahawks (at NYJ)
The Seattle Seahawks don’t attempt many field goals, which has reduced the fantasy value of veteran kicker Jason Myers. However, he’ll get a matchup against a New York Jets defense allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to kickers.
Since firing Robert Saleh after Week 5, the Jets are a bottom-five defense in EPA per play and points allowed per drive. That should lead to more scoring opportunities overall for Myers, who remains a solid long-range kicker as well (6/8 from 50+ yards in 2024).
Myers is available in at least 75% of ESPN and Yahoo leagues, so he should be available even in shallower leagues if you need a streaming option for Week 13. Check the weather to make sure the conditions aren’t too harsh in East Rutherford as well.
Graham Gano
New York Giants (at DAL)
Graham Gano missed seven games after injuring his hamstring in Week 2, then missed one of his two field-goal attempts in his first game back vs. the Carolina Panthers in Germany. As a result, Gano is widely available, as he’s rostered in fewer than 1% of ESPN and Yahoo leagues.
For deeper leagues with fewer streaming options, Gano could be a solid move now that he’s three weeks removed from his return. The Dallas Cowboys allow the fifth-most fantasy points per game to kickers this season, as only three defenses allow opposing offenses to score on a higher rate of their drives.
While the Giants are not a high-powered offense, they are roughly league-average in terms of field goals attempted per drive. However, New York also ranks last in red-zone touchdown rate, meaning the offense has an extremely difficult time finishing drives. Coupled with a favorable matchup overall, Gano could see a higher volume of field-goal attempts than usual.
