Kaylee Hartung has emerged as a familiar face on Thursday nights during the NFL season, as she serves as Amazon Prime’s sideline reporter during those contests.

The league and its fans have watched her interview coaches and big-name players before, during, and after each “Thursday Night Football” contest. Few, though, know about how much she earns. It’s time to explore her net worth.

What Is Kaylee Hartung’s Net Worth?

A subsequent question: Does Hartung surpass the millions with her Amazon Prime salary?

As of 2024, Hartung has a reported net worth of approximately $3.2 million, but that figure isn’t just for her NFL work on the streaming service. Hartung is a popular news personality known for reporting on politics, wars, or any other issues.

Amazon Prime happens to be the only streaming outlet that gave her an NFL gig. Hartung was immediately tabbed as TNF’s sideline reporter in July 2022 before the streaming service’s first season of broadcasting games.

But how much does she reel in through her work with Amazon? She reportedly collects an average salary of $74,629.

How Long Has Hartung Been Reporting?

The native of Baton Rouge, La., is closing in on a 20-year career in broadcast journalism, which began at the college level.

Hartung studied journalism and politics at Washington and Lee University in 2007. During her time in college, she earned an internship over one summer with NBC. Her work at NBC got her pilfered by CBS for an associate producer position on “Face the Nation,” with news veteran Bob Schieffer as the host.

However, Hartung didn’t just limit herself to politics during her rise in the news field.

She earned one of her first sports jobs through Cox Sports Television in New Orleans. That was where she got her first experience following the NFL while covering the New Orleans Saints. She also covered the NBA’s New Orleans Hornets, who are now known as the Pelicans.

She then worked as a correspondent for the Longhorn Network and the SEC Network, both of which were through ESPN, but she dove back into politics right after.

CNN hired her in 2017, where she worked as an Atlanta-based correspondent. Her time with the network lasted just two years, as she accepted a role with ABC News as a New York correspondent.

Then in Jan. 2023, Hartung went back to NBC — only this time as a national correspondent for the “Today” show. By virtue of her ties with the network, NBC got her to serve as the sideline reporter for the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins Wild Card Round showdown. She was best known for sporting some massive polar gloves due to how frigid the game became.

That contest, which was aired on NBC’s streaming service Peacock, was the last NFL game she covered for the ’23 season. Fortunately for her, Hartung’s first TNF game will be in warmer temperatures as the Buffalo Bills play at Miami for her first 2024 contest.
