Who Is Justin Herbert’s Girlfriend? Chargers QB Ignites Rumors After Being Spotted on Date With Celebrity

We have another superstar QB and pop star coupling, and this one is in Tinseltown. Here's the latest on Justin Herbert and Madison Beer.

We might have another star football player dating a prominent pop star.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has been making noise off the field. Normally quiet and reserved, Herbert was recently spotted out in public, but it wasn’t the typical one-on-one date you’d expect. Instead, he was seen alongside a famous pop star, with one of his teammates tagging along.

Wait, Is That Justin Herbert’s Girlfriend?

Herbert was spotted in public with Grammy-nominated pop star Madison Beer outside of the West Hollywood hot spot, Delilah. Herbert’s friend and Chargers offensive lineman Joe Alt tagged along. The Internet caught wind and immediately had thoughts.

One fan posted on social media, “Justin Herbert taking Madison Beer out on a date with his offensive linemen is so funny to me.”

Another fan, seemingly referencing former Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers (who has 10 children), posted, “The first Chargers starting quarterback to bring protection on a date in 20 years.”

All kidding aside, Alt is not Herbert’s bodyguard. The two are best friends on the team, and his being spotted with them is more like joining your buddy and his girlfriend for dinner or drinks.

Speaking of, the Sporting News reports that Herbert confirmed that he and Beer are officially a couple. They have been rumored to be a couple for over a month. Herbert was seen on Beer’s music video shoot set, and the two were seen together in Redondo Beach.

Beer was in attendance at the SoFi Stadium during the Chargers’ Week 3 win against the Denver Broncos. Herbert threw for 300 yards, a touchdown, an an interception in his team’s 23-20 win.

Beer rose to prominence in 2012 thanks to a series of cover songs she sang and posted on YouTube. She was then discovered by Justin Bieber, who posted her videos to his Twitter account.

Beer released her debut single, “Melodies,” in 2013, followed by her first EP, “As She Pleases,” in 2018. She later dropped her full-length debut, “Life Support,” in 2021, and the follow-up, “Silence Between Songs,” in 2023.

She has also earned two Grammy nominations — Best Immersive Audio Album in 2024 for “Silence Between Songs,” and Best Song in 2025 for “Make You Mine.”
