For Herbert, a trade for Doubs wouldn’t completely redefine the offense, but it would significantly improve his supporting cast. Depth at the receiver position has often been a deciding factor in long postseason runs, and Doubs’ experience would provide valuable insurance if injuries affect the team’s top targets. Prendergast highlighted that Bleacher Report also identified Doubs as the Packers’ most logical trade piece, even outlining a potential deal with the Chargers in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round pick. Doubs’ career has been marked by modest but solid production. His best season came in 2023 when he caught 59 passes for 674 yards and eight touchdowns. While he may not be seen as more than a WR3 or WR4, his ability to contribute situationally makes him a valuable asset.
