Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been a headline magnet ever since his Heisman Trophy and national championship run at LSU.
Since going No. 1 overall in 2020, Burrow has dazzled across the NFL, leading the league in categories like passing yards, touchdowns, and completion percentage. With that level of success and superstar status, it’s no wonder fans are eager to learn more about his life off the field, especially when it comes to romance.
Joe Burrow’s Relationship Details
At 28, Burrow is not only one of the NFL’s highest-paid players but also one of its most eligible bachelors. He was long linked to influencer Olivia Holzmacher, whom he met at Ohio State back in 2017. The pair reportedly split in December 2024, news that surfaced shortly after Burrow’s home was broken into.
The break-in became public when influencer and model Olivia Ponton arrived at Burrow’s home and discovered a shattered bedroom window and a ransacked room. Burrow was in Dallas at the time for a game against the Cowboys.
Ponton reportedly identified herself to police as his employee, which quickly fueled speculation that the star quarterback and his personal assistant were more than just colleagues.

Shortly after his home burglary, Burrow spoke about the incident in a press conference. “I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one.” He confessed, “Way more is out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that’s all I got to say about that.”
“We live a public life, and one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy,” Burrow explained. “That has been difficult for me to deal with my entire career. Still learning. But I understand it’s the life that we choose. Doesn’t make it any easier to deal with.”
Ponton’s presence sparked more questions. Fans noticed Burrow and Holzmacher hadn’t appeared together publicly since early in the year, and speculation quickly grew that Burrow and Ponton had been romantically involved for months.
While neither Burrow nor Ponton has officially confirmed their relationship or her employment status, their actions seem to be a declaration in their own right.
In June 2025, they were spotted visiting several celebrity hotspots in and around Manhattan. Burrow was dressed in baggy jeans and a short-sleeved hooded sweatshirt, while Ponton wore black shorts with a flowy white top.
Ponton, a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, was also spotted with Burrow in May 2025 at the Formula 1 Grand Prix, fueling the rumors further. Burrow might not love the spotlight on his personal life, but with training camp still weeks away, fans are keeping a close eye on the Bengals star both on and off the field.
