Is Joe Burrow Playing in Week 10?

Burrow was listed on the injury report with a right wrist injury, but was an estimated full participant in practice on Monday and Tuesday. He is in no danger of missing out on Thursday’s game.

We’ll continue to monitor the Bengals’ injury report. You can also visit and bookmark our NFL Injury Tracker and Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.

Should You Start or Sit Joe Burrow in Week 10?

Joe Burrow is pacing for 4,239 passing yards and a career-high 38 passing touchdowns, numbers that might shock the public given the Bengals’ losing record, but fantasy managers are well aware of his ability to put up points in a hurry.

We should see more of the same this week against one of the league’s most vulnerable defenses that allows a league-high 78.8% of opponent yardage to come via the pass. Burrow has six QB1 finishes this season including a pair of top-three finishes, one of which came in Week 5 against these Ravens:

    • 39 attempts
    • 30 completions
    • 392 yards
    • 5 touchdowns

You’re more than welcome to question if Cincinnati is live to pull off this upset, but there is no doubt that their quarterback is in a position to succeed. If not for the potential of the Ravens dominating the time of possession in this game, Burrow would grade as a Tier 1 option. As it is, he tops my second tier and that means QB5 for the week.

Joe Burrow’s Fantasy Points Projection in Week 10

As of Thursday, Burrow is projected to score 20.4 fantasy points in Week 10. This includes 272.6 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 0.7 interceptions. It also includes 3.4 rushing attempts for 12.3 yards and 0.2 touchdowns.

PFN Insight on the Ravens’ Defense

The Baltimore Ravens’ defense has briefly flashed upside this year, but there has been no rhyme or reason as to why they have come outside of outlier results. Week 9 was just the second time that the Ravens have been inside the top 15 in a single week this season (Week 3 vs. Buffalo). Outside of that, it has not made for pretty reading.

The Ravens’ main success defensively has been against the run, but they have struggled against the pass. A large part of that has been an inability to generate consistent pressure without committing extra men to the pass rush. Additionally, the Ravens have also ranked 30th in third-down conversion rate this year, but their ability to stiffen in the red zone (15th) has meant it has not shown up as much as it could have.
