In December, Joe Burrow just dropped $2.9 million on a Batmobile from “The Dark Knight.” The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback has been collecting high-end vehicles since signing his massive contract extension, and his latest purchase might be the wildest yet.
What Makes Joe Burrow’s Car Collection So Unique?
Burrow has been among the best quarterbacks in the NFL since the Cincinnati Bengals made him the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The two-time NFL Comeback Player of the Year is coming off his best season from an individual statistical standpoint.
He threw for 4,918 yards, 43 touchdowns, and nine interceptions while completing 70.6% of his pass attempts. Burrow added 201 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 42 carries. He joined Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Baker Mayfield in an exclusive club, becoming the third quarterback in league history to throw for at least 4,500 passing yards, 40 passing touchdowns, and fewer than 10 interceptions.
With Burrow’s five-year, $275 million contract extension kicking in this season, which includes over $219 million in guaranteed money, the Bengals star has been known to collect cars. However, his approach to spending is strategic.
Burrow previously shared that he plans to save all of the money he earns from his NFL contracts and instead use his endorsement money to fund his life. The Cincinnati quarterback has made some impressive car purchases using this method.
How Did Burrow Build His Electric Vehicle Collection?
His collection includes a custom Lordstown Endurance Truck, which he received as a gift after signing with Lordstown Motors as a brand partner. The electric pickup truck has a top speed of 118 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds.
Beyond the partnership vehicle, Burrow also owns a Porsche Taycan Turbo. Burrow has driven the car, which is considered his day-to-day ride, on multiple occasions. The electric vehicle has a top speed of 162 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just three seconds.
Adding to his high-performance collection, Burrow has also purchased an Acura NSX, which cost him about $156,000. The vehicle has a top speed of 191 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just three seconds.
His most recent purchase may be his most impressive. He revealed the purchase of a Batmobile from “The Dark Knight” movie during an episode of “Hard Knocks.”

There were only 10 licensed Batmobiles sold by Wayne Enterprises Experiences. The vehicle features a 6.2-liter General Motors engine with 525 horsepower, imitation gun turrets, a smokescreen delivery system, and a jet engine simulation. While the Batmobile is fully functional, it is reportedly not street-legal.
