The Los Angeles Rams have spent years watching Puka Nacua run through NFL defenses. At Michael Rubin’s White Party, however, the obstacle that finally stopped him was a perfectly clean piece of glass.
Nacua recalled the embarrassing encounter during an appearance on the “Impaulsive” podcast, admitting that a rush of excitement over seeing Snoop Dogg ended with him bleeding from the face.
Puka Nacua Says the Glass Window Pane Won
“You versus that glass windowpane at Michael Rubin’s White Party,” was the question Nacua was asked in the viral clip.
“The glass windowpane won,” Nacua replied.
Nacua explained that he had been talking with Olympic gymnast Suni Lee when he spotted Snoop Dogg. Excited by the sighting, he turned to find Los Angeles teammate Davante Adams. Unfortunately, Rubin’s cleaning crew had apparently achieved first team status.
“It was Snoop Dogg. I was so excited, and I’m like, I was sitting there talking to Suni Lee,” Nacua said. “I had to go find where Davante was at, and I turned around, and I’m like, they cleaned the windows really good while we were at Rubin’s house.”
Another person on the podcast remembered seeing a group rushing toward Nacua before finding him in a corner with blood on his face. The explanation became obvious only after noticing the nearly invisible glass panel.
Nacua was eventually told he had company.
“They made me feel better when they said three other people ran into it,” Nacua said. “But I’m like, nobody else ended up bleeding from it. I don’t know if that made me feel much better or worse.”
Apparently, there is safety in numbers, unless you are the only member of the group who needs to explain the blood.
Nacua Adds Another Story to Eventful Offseason
The glass mishap happened at Rubin’s annual White Party in the Hamptons, a celebrity gathering that included Snoop Dogg and other prominent athletes and entertainers.
Nacua’s “Impaulsive” appearance has produced several memorable stories. His recent comments about Seattle Seahawks safety Julian Love also sparked criticism online after the Rams receiver discussed his dislike for the division rival.
Whatever happens away from football, Nacua remains one of the league’s most productive receivers. He led the NFL with 129 receptions in 2025 and finished second with 1,715 receiving yards.
Those numbers suggest defensive backs have had a harder time stopping Nacua than Rubin’s window did.
The 25-year-old is entering the final season of his rookie contract after earning first-team All-Pro honors in 2025. Los Angeles has every reason to hope the biggest collisions Nacua experiences this fall come with defenders rather than home decor.
For Nacua, at least the story has become easier to laugh about. Three other guests may have hit the same glass, but only one walked away with an NFL-caliber story and a reminder that sometimes the cleanest hit does not come from another player.
