Broncos Would Benefit From Having Jaylen Waddle On the Roster
According to Benjamin Allbright, one of the teams most likely to do business with the Dolphins is the Denver Broncos, which has several problems involving the presence of WRs on its roster and has financial conditions considered worrisome for investing in reinforcements.
Denver has just under $4.62 million in cap space, according to official NFLPA data. Other projections indicate that the Broncos are expected to have over $48.6 million in space in 2026. Additionally, they can also sign a player who will receive a significantly increased salary for the next season.
They’ve made some calls about depth at offensive line tight end and wide receiver.
I know that Waddle rumor is the hot thing going around right now.

Waddle, who is under contract with the Dolphins through the 2028 season, was the sixth overall pick in the 2021 draft and will turn 27 on Nov. 25. His current contract stipulates an additional $84.75 million in payments over the next three years. His salary cap hit is projected to rise to $33.83 million in 2027, when the Broncos are expected to have $48.6 million or more in available cap space.
Although contract extensions and other agreements significantly impact this value, the arrival of WR to the Broncos could represent good news for Sean Payton, the head coach who needs reinforcements in the position. It could provide a positive environment for Waddle (who currently ranks 11th in the PFSN WR Impact with a B grade) to develop further.
The Broncos are a team that has consistently demonstrated the ability to continue winning with their current roster. However, Payton has already shown interest in trading draft picks for more veteran players this season, despite reaffirming his confidence in the current roster in recent press conferences.

While the situation remains unclear with the Broncos, another possibility raised by a CBS Sports report suggests that Waddle could join the New York Giants after Malik Nabers’ season-ending injury, leaving quarterback Jaxson Dart without a reference point at the wide receiver position.
Waddle’s characteristics also align well with the Giants, and a deal with the Dolphins could represent a solution with both immediate positive impact and long-term benefits, considering the contract runs until 2028. It potentially establishes a strong partnership on offense alongside Nabers.
