Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce is a man of many talents, and last week, he added “stripping” to his post-NFL résumé. The former Super Bowl champion went viral for showing off an American flag-themed Speedo during a charity event for the Eagles Autism Foundation, and he has now revealed he did so because he lost a bet against former teammate Beau Allen.
Not only did Kelce have to wear a Speedo, but he also had to get a bikini wax.
Eagles Legend Jason Kelce Details Hilarious Bikini Wax Incident
Kelce joined the Eagles Autism Foundation team at Ocean Drive in Sea Isle City, N.J., last week to raise $1 million and did everything possible to entertain the fans arriving at the event. However, donning a Speedo wasn’t his original plan. It came down to a bet with former teammate Beau Allen.
“The bet was you get two points for every percentage body fat lost, and you get one point for every pound of muscle gained,” Kelce explained on the “New Heights” podcast with his brother Travis.
Kelce, however, lost the bet after Allen lost 2% of his fat and gained four pounds of muscle, whereas he didn’t gain any after losing 3% of his fat. The bet initially only included doing a Speedo, but he also added a bikini wax to it.
When Travis expressed shock over his decision, he replied: “Thank God I did because this thing would have looked so much worse if I wasn’t waxed. I mean, it would have been even more gross.”
When it came time to complete the bet, Kelce was advised to get a Brazilian wax, which would have included hair removal from his backside. His wife suggested it as well, but he chose a European wax instead.
“I don’t know what it is. I don’t like anything in that crease,” he quipped. “Nothing’s been in that crease other than my own hand. The crease, that’s a no-fly zone for me.”
“She (Kylie) thought it was funny,” Kelce added. “Again, she was upset I didn’t get the Brazilian wax because I think she is tired of my hairy a** crack. As far as the Speedo, she was like ‘Oh, just another day at the OD’.”
Jason then described the procedure, admitting he felt vulnerable but eventually faced it like a man.
“Right away, the technician says, ‘Okay, remove everything from the waist down. I’m like, ‘Excuse me? Like, we’re just everything’s off?’ … They say, ‘Now assume the butterfly position,'” he recalled.
“So I am filleted open. I’m filleted,” he said. “I look like a spatchcock turkey down there on that table. Dude, it was the most vulnerable I’ve ever felt. But, no, I think I took it like a man.”
While Jason was recalling the ordeal, someone sent Travis a picture of the former from the salon, and Travis burst into laughter, saying, “Dude, this cannot see the light of day. This cannot see the light of day, dude.”
As tough as Jason is, the father of four admitted the experience was humbling and hinted it would probably be the first and last time he goes through a bikini wax.
