Jason Kelce Had a Wild Reaction After Shedeur Sanders’ Interception in the Pro Bowl

Sanders arrived at the Pro Bowl Games as a late addition, the kind that happens not because of grand declarations but because the NFL season bends and reshapes itself until someone new fits in the space. By the end of the flag football game, he had thrown two interceptions and been on the receiving end of broadcast chaos.

The first interception came almost immediately on the AFC’s opening drive. Sanders floated a pass that Chicago Bears safety Kevin Byard stepped in front of and picked off cleanly. What followed was classic Pro Bowl chaos.

As Byard celebrated after reaching the end zone, Jason Kelce had a hard time keeping up with the scene unfolding in front of him.

“Pandemonium. Players are on the field. What is happening, he is doing the slinky. There’s a wheelchair on the field, what is happening?”

Sanders was intercepted again in the second half, this time by Chicago Bears cornerback Nahshon Wright, who would have taken the pick back for a touchdown if not for a penalty that wiped out the return. Nevertheless, by the end of the game at Moscone Center in San Francisco, the result, an NFC win 66-52, felt secondary to the experience itself.

Sanders leaned into that perspective afterward, sharing appreciation for the opportunity.

“Thank you to all the coaches, players, and fans for allowing me to be a part of the Pro Bowl! It was an amazing experience, connecting with the guys, learning, and growing. Truly grateful for the opportunity and hoping to stay connected. Thank you, GOD 🙏🏾🔥 @NFL,” he wrote on X.

That outlook has followed Sanders throughout his rookie season. After starting for the Browns in the last seven games, he threw for 1,400 yards with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions, completing 56.6% of his passes. PFSN gives him a QBi score of 56.9. The results were not incredible, but Sanders has publicly never wavered in his belief that he can succeed at the NFL level.

Browns new head coach, Todd Monken, has spoken positively about Sanders’ potential but made it clear that Cleveland’s quarterback plans for 2026 remain undecided.
