The Jacksonville Jaguars made a major offensive addition at the trade deadline by acquiring wide receiver Jakobi Meyers from the Las Vegas Raiders. Meyers’ impact was immediate, and it took just over a month for Jacksonville to reward him with a long-term extension.
What’s Jakobi Meyers’ Salary and Net Worth?
Meyers, who is represented by agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey, initially signed a three-year, $33 million contract with the Raiders in 2023. That deal included a $5.5 million signing bonus, $10.5 million guaranteed at signing, and $21 million in total guarantees, with an average annual salary of $11 million.
Coming off his first 1,000-yard receiving season, Meyers entered the year seeking long-term security. When extension talks with Las Vegas stalled, he requested a trade, one that was granted midseason. The Jaguars acquired him in exchange for a fourth and sixth-round pick.
Although Meyers was set to become a free agent after the season, Jacksonville moved quickly to secure his future. He signed a three-year, $60 million extension that keeps him under contract through the 2028 season.
According to Sportrac, the deal includes $30 million in fully guaranteed compensation at signing, consisting of a $7 million signing bonus, $16 million in 2026 compensation, and $6.8 million in 2027 salary. An additional $10 million of 2027 compensation will become fully guaranteed in March.
The contract also features per-game active roster bonuses totaling $500,000 per year and two voidable years (2029–2030), allowing a $10 million option bonus in 2026 to be prorated across five seasons for cap flexibility.
The on-field impact has been undeniable. Before Meyers’ arrival, the Jaguars averaged just 22 points per game. Since acquiring him, that number has increased to 33.1 points per game, a rise of more than 50%. Such a leap reflects a more stable, efficient offense operating with timing and trust in Liam Coen’s system, with Meyers playing a central role.
His reliability over the middle of the field and ability to convert in high-leverage situations have given Trevor Lawrence a dependable answer against coverage. Through nine games with Jacksonville, Meyers has recorded 42 receptions for 483 yards and three touchdowns.
In eight games with the Raiders earlier this season, he caught 33 passes for 352 yards without a touchdown.
Overall, Meyers ranks 48th in PFSN’s WR Impact Metric with a score of 74.7, solid production that underscores his value as a high-floor, chain-moving receiver.
According to Salary Sport, Meyers’ net worth is estimated at $39.39 million. That figure, however, predates his Jaguars extension and is likely conservative. By the end of this season alone, Meyers will have generated approximately $44.7 million in NFL career earnings, with significantly more now secured for the future.
