Is Tyler Warren Injured? Breaking Down if the Colts Star Is Hurt After Slow Start in Week 8 vs. Titans

Colts tight end Tyler Warren did not have a great start in first half against the Tennessee Titans in Week 8. Here's the latest on his status.

The Indianapolis Colts have the best record in the NFL and are looking to hold on to that crown. In Week 8, their offense had a solid first half, but against the struggling Tennessee Titans, some fans may have been expecting more fireworks. Instead, they saved some for the third quarter as well. But rookie Tyler Warren hasn’t been very involved.

Tyler Warren’s Slow Start

Warren hasn’t been completely invisible in the first half, but it hasn’t been that great. Outside of Michael Pittman Jr., the Colts’ pass catchers haven’t been very involved.

It helps when Jonathan Taylor is the running back and has over 150 rushing yards and two touchdowns with 25 minutes to play. Warren has just two catches for 35 yards.

While Warren’s involvement would be great for the offense, the Colts just have to hold a three-possession lead to become the first team to seven wins.

The Colts’ offense has been a well-oiled machine throughout 2025. They are the top-ranked offense in PFSN’s Offense Impact score with a grade of 97.3. It’s safe to say not many people expected the Colts to have the best offense in the NFL through eight weeks and Daniel Jones to be the elite signal-caller that he’s been.

It doesn’t matter whether it was expected, but the Colts dominate teams on the offensive side of the ball. They dominated the Titans through three quarters and continue to pile onto the Tennessee defense. Warren added a four-yard reception in the third quarter to take his total to three catches for 39 yards.

The Colts broke the 30-point mark for the sixth time in eight games. This offense isn’t just one of the best in the NFL right now; it’s one of the best units we’ve seen in quite a few years. No matter what defense is put in front of them, they look to dissect and dismantle whatever coverages and schemes are thrown at them.

It won’t be much longer until the Colts decide to take out their starting offense to keep them fresh and healthy. Warren won’t have many more opportunities to redeem his quiet start today, but a dominant win is a nice consolation prize.

They have tough games coming up with the Steelers and Chiefs in the next three weeks, and saving a dominant performance for these games would certainly help more than Warren risking injury in a blowout trying to redeem a slow start.
