Who Is Geno Smith’s Wife, Hayley Eastham?

Smith is widely believed to be married to Hayley Eastham, with reports indicating the two have been together since their college days at West Virginia University. According to multiple outlets, the pair reportedly tied the knot in July 2015, although Smith has not publicly confirmed the details of their relationship.

Eastham studied law at WVU and, per her LinkedIn profile, currently works as a litigation managing associate at Dentons. While Smith has a son, Seven Santana Smith, from a previous relationship, Eastham has been involved in helping raise him.

She has reportedly been spotted supporting Smith throughout his NFL career, from his time with the Seattle Seahawks to his current run with the Raiders.

Seven was born in July 2019, and Smith posted about the moment on X, calling his son’s birth the “greatest day of my life.” His biological mother has not been publicly identified.
In 2021, Smith shared a photo of Seven during a trip to Disneyland, offering fans a rare glimpse into his otherwise private family life.

Smith’s NFL Career At A Glance

Smith entered the NFL after four years at West Virginia, starting in his final three seasons. His consistent performance earned him All-Big East Conference honors in both 2010 and 2011.

Beginning his professional career in New York, Smith experienced an up-and-down first two seasons, which led head coach Todd Bowles to bench him in favor of Ryan Fitzpatrick. He reclaimed the starting role in 2016, but a torn ACL in the first game immediately ended his season.

From there, Smith moved between several teams before landing in Seattle. He spent his first three seasons behind Russell Wilson in a backup role before earning the starting position in 2022, leaving behind Drew Lock.

In 2022, Smith threw for 4,282 yards and 30 touchdowns, leading the Seahawks to a playoff berth and earning the NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award. Despite maintaining similar numbers over the next two seasons, Seattle failed to replicate that level of success.

In 2024, the franchise parted ways with Pete Carroll, hiring Mike Macdonald as the new head coach. That change ultimately marked the beginning of the end for Smith’s tenure in Seattle.

With one year left on his deal, the two-time Pro Bowler wanted a contract extension that paid him like one of the top quarterbacks in the league. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem like Seattle wanted to play ball, and as a result, they chose to ship him to the Raiders, who had shown immediate interest.

Through eight games this season with the Raiders, Smith has thrown for 1,701 yards and 11 touchdowns against 11 interceptions, going 2-6 as a starter. He’s ranked 18th in PFSN’s QB Impact metric.
