The Seattle Seahawks have been one of the most pleasant surprises of the 2025 NFL season. With a 6-2 record, they are the No. 1 seed in the NFC West and near the top of the NFC as a whole. While their success has depended heavily on their stifling defense, the offense hasn’t been much worse.
An explosive start to the season from Jaxon Smith-Njigba, along with the continued resurgence of Sam Darnold, has made them a prolific team to deal with. But, so far this year, their prized offseason acquisition, Cooper Kupp, hasn’t found fifth gear. After missing last week with an injury, will he be back in the lineup against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10?

Will Cooper Kupp Play Against the Cardinals?
A former Triple Crown winner and Super Bowl MVP, Kupp at his peak is as good as any other wide receiver in the league. However, after an ugly breakup with the Los Angeles Rams this offseason, he hasn’t found the same level of success in Seattle.
Ranked 42nd on PFSN’s WR Impact, Kupp has tallied just 293 yards and one touchdown. Yet to break the 100-yard barrier in a game this year, he has assumed the WR2 role behind Njigba, with a season high of just 90 receiving yards.
With Rashid Shaheed entering the lineup after a trade with the New Orleans Saints, the Seahawks now have a threat at every level of the field. But the presence of Kupp is going to be essential in making their operation work.
Missing last week’s game due to a hamstring injury, he wasn’t a part of the 38-14 rout of the Washington Commanders at the hands of his new squad. But, coming into Week 10, the latest reports are positive.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN broke the news on X that should allow Seattle fans to breathe a big sigh of relief. He wrote, “Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (questionable, hamstring/heel) is expected to play Sunday vs. Cardinals, per source.”
Kupp’s Fantasy Outlook
A lower-body injury kept Kupp out of Sunday night’s beatdown of the Commanders, and Tory Horton took advantage with a pair of scores. It’ll hurt because of the name value, but there’s no numerical reason to be holding onto Kupp at this point.
The one-time star has no more than two receptions in the majority of his games this season and has scored just a single touchdown. Darnold has played as well as you could possibly ask, and Kupp hasn’t been worth anything to us (zero top 20 finishes).
