Kid Rock Headlines Turning Point USA Halftime Alternative

Turning Point USA has announced its own alternative broadcast titled the “All-American Halftime Show,” scheduled to air at the same time as the official Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show on Feb. 8. According to the organization, the program will begin streaming live around 8 p.m. ET and will be available across multiple platforms.

Viewers can watch the show on Daily Wire+, Real America’s Voice, TBN, CHARGE!, The National News Desk, NTD.com, and OAN News. In addition, the organization will stream the event live on its social media channels, including YouTube, X, and Rumble.

This broad distribution suggests the group aims to reach both traditional television audiences and digital viewers simultaneously.

Turning Point USA says the purpose of the alternative broadcast is to provide another halftime option, particularly for viewers who may not be interested in the official performance.

A spokesperson, Andrew Kolvet, explained that the intention is to present programming centered on faith, family, and freedom while avoiding cultural or political conflict. The organization positioned the show as a family-friendly alternative during one of television’s most-watched events.

The lineup includes Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. Each performer brings a distinct audience, with Kid Rock in particular known for his vocal support of Donald Trump.

Kid Rock compared the effort to a challenging underdog story, calling it similar to “David and Goliath.” He also commented on the contrast with the official halftime show, saying, “He’s having a dance party, wearing a dress, and singing in Spanish? Cool. We plan to play great songs for folks who love America.”

Meanwhile, the official Super Bowl 60 halftime show will be headlined by six-time Grammy winner Bad Bunny. His selection drew criticism from some political figures, including Donald Trump, who said he had “never heard” of the Puerto Rican artist.

At the Grammy Awards, Bad Bunny responded to Trump’s immigration enforcement policies by stating “ICE out” on stage, adding another layer of political tension around the halftime conversation.

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Martínez Ocasio, has built global recognition through his music career and was Spotify’s most-streamed artist worldwide in 2025. His upcoming performance marks his first time headlining the Super Bowl halftime show, although he previously appeared as a guest during Super Bowl 55.

The simultaneous broadcasts highlight how the Super Bowl continues to reflect broader cultural conversations beyond sports. While the NFL’s official halftime show remains the centerpiece, Turning Point USA’s alternative program offers an alternative viewing option, leaving audiences to decide which version of halftime best matches their expectations.
