To begin the 12-game Sunday slate, the Denver Broncos and New York Jets clash overseas as the lone game in the morning timeslot. As the NFL continues to increase its exposure, this game will be the second of three games played in London this season and the fourth of seven games being played internationally.
The Broncos come into this game after a statement win last week over last year’s Super Bowl Champion, the Philadelphia Eagles, in Philadelphia. The Eagles led 17-3 heading into the fourth quarter, and Denver scored 18 unanswered points to win 21-17.
Quarterback Bo Nix was solid again, throwing for 242 yards and a touchdown on 24 of 39. Running back JK Dobbins ran for 79 yards and his fourth touchdown of the season, which started the scoring for the Broncos in the fourth quarter. TE Evan Engram then caught his first touchdown of the season, and Denver converted a two-point conversion to give Denver the lead.
The Jets took on the Dallas Cowboys at home last week as betting favorites and got smoked. After a first quarter where both teams hit a field goal, Dallas led 23-3 at halftime. The game ended 37-22, but that score doesn’t justify how much Dallas was in control.

Can the Broncos Keep Stampeding On Into the Playoffs?
Sitting at 3-2 on the year and tied for the division lead with the Los Angeles Chargers, the Broncos understand how important each game is to their success. They must continue winning to hold off the inevitable Kansas City Chiefs’ run later in the year and are ranked first in the PFSN’s defensive impact this season.
The Jets are the NFL’s only winless team, sitting at 0-5 heading into this game. The offense has been okay, but the defense has been among the worst in the NFL, surrendering 157 points and sitting 29th in PFSN’s defensive standings. The only team that has allowed more is the Baltimore Ravens, who look like a complete mess right now.
It seems like it is time for a changing of the guard atop the AFC West, and it is up to the Broncos to take it, but they need to show that they can remain focused in games that bring more fanfare or distraction to prove to the world that they are ready.
The Jets will be playing with their backs against the wall, which sometimes frees players’ minds, but at 0-5, they don’t have much of a choice, and it is hard to expect they will do much with this setting.
