Who Is Performing at the Halftime Show at the Berlin Game

The Atlanta Falcons will take on the Indianapolis Colts, hoping to recover from the narrow loss to the New England Patriots and snap their three-game winless streak. Meanwhile, the Colts, currently the top-ranked offense on PFSN’s NFL Metrics, will look to bounce back from their defeat against Pittsburgh.

Ahead of the exciting clash between the two, the NFL has announced that music icon The Kid LAROI will headline the halftime show. The 22-year-old Australian singer has delivered superhit songs like “STAY (with Justin Bieber),” “WITHOUT YOU,” and “NIGHTS LIKE THIS”. He has also earned several prestigious accolades for his talent, and his debut mixtape made him the youngest Australian solo act to make it to the top of the ARIA charts in 2020.

Talking about the opportunity, here’s what the 2022 GRAMMY-nominated star had to say:

“I’m hyped to be performing for the NFL’s first regular-season game in Berlin, and I know the energy at the stadium is going to be epic. It’s an honor to be part of this history-making event and bring my music to such passionate fans. We’re going to make this a day the city won’t forget.”

Tim Tubito, Senior Director of Global Game Presentation and Entertainment at the NFL, emphasized the league’s commitment to entertaining its fans.

“Bringing an artist of The Kid LAROI’s caliber to the first regular-season NFL game in Berlin underscores our commitment to delivering world-class entertainment,” said Tim Tubito. “The energy that he and his music bring perfectly matches the passionate atmosphere created by our incredible German fans. This halftime show should add yet another layer to an already exciting day of sport and entertainment.”

Before the game, local artists German Gents will perform the German National Anthem, while Norma Jean Martine will be singing the U.S. National Anthem.

As per Gridiron Magazine, the Colts-Falcons matchup will also be the first since 2002 to feature opposing players each with at least 1000 scrimmage yards before Week 10.
