What Is the Halftime Show at Buccaneers vs. Panthers?

The Buccaneers and Panthers will wrap up their regular seasons this Saturday in a high-stakes showdown. The winner will claim the NFC South title and advance to the postseason, so there is plenty on the line for both teams.

To add to the excitement, fans will also witness the Hyundai Field Goal Kicking Challenge during halftime, where finalists will compete for a chance to win a 2025 Hyundai Palisade.

Buccaneers legend Dexter Jackson will lead the team through the Hallway Walk, while Buccaneers Ring of Honor member Mike Alstott will serve as Captain of the Krewe.

Following the halftime kicking competition, Captain Fear’s Krewe and the East Bay Bucs youth football team will take part in a mascot-versus-youth football matchup on the south end of the field.

Buccaneers–Panthers Game Preview

The Buccaneers (7–9) will conclude their regular season on Saturday, Jan. 3, against the Panthers (8–8) at Raymond James Stadium. Fans can tune in to ABC/ESPN at 4:30 p.m. ET to catch the game live.

Both teams have shown flashes of strength this season while also struggling at different points. Tampa Bay started the year on a positive note but lost momentum midway through the season. In Week 17, the Buccaneers fell to the Miami Dolphins, marking their seventh loss in the last eight games. Carolina, on the other hand, has had a slightly better season overall. However, they have also struggled to deliver impressive performances in recent weeks.

Still, Week 18 is what matters most, as it will determine the NFC South champion. The Buccaneers sit second in the division with a 21.4% chance to win the NFC South and reach the postseason, while the Panthers currently hold a 78.6% chance, according to PFSN’s NFL Playoff Predictor.

Both teams enter Saturday’s matchup coming off Week 17 losses. Carolina suffered a 27–10 defeat against the Seattle Seahawks, while Tampa Bay lost 20–17 to the Miami Dolphins.

The Week 18 game will mark the second time these division rivals face each other in three weeks. The Panthers won the previous matchup, but it will be interesting to see which team emerges victorious this time and claims the divisional crown.
