The Jacksonville Jaguars are having a historic season in Duval. They finished the regular season with a 13-4 record, second only to their legendary 1999 season, when they went 14-2. As they are set to face off against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in a Wild Card matchup, fans are wondering who will be their halftime show at EverBank Stadium.
Who Will Perform the Halftime Show at the Bills vs. Jaguars Wild Card Game?
The Bills are perennial favorites year after year with quarterback Josh Allen under center. Allen, the 2024 league MVP, has taken the Bills to the playoffs every year except his rookie year. Unfortunately for Buffalo and its loyal fanbase, they have never made it to the Super Bowl.
The Jaguars have made the postseason nine times since their inception in 1995. Their playoff record is 8-8. With quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who was drafted first overall in 2021, the team has a 1-1 record, with that lone win coming at the end of the 2022 season when they beat the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card round.
Jacksonville has made it to the AFC Championship game three times but has never advanced to the Super Bowl. That means that for both teams and both quarterbacks, it feels as if history is on the line.
The two teams will meet at 1:00 pm ET on Sunday in Jacksonville, and the halftime show will be performed by the Bethune-Cookman University Marching Wildcats. The Marching Wildcats have over 200 members that include instrumentalists, a flag corp and their 14 Karat Gold Dancers.
According to the Bethune-Cookman website, the band is known as The PRIDE, and they “strive to bring the finest in half-time performances to viewing audiences.”
“The nationally famous 14 Karat Gold dancers are made up of select young ladies who exemplify exceptional dance skills, poise, and class. The dancers are featured performers in all engagements of the Marching Wildcats and occasionally perform as a solo act,” says their website.
The dancers are joined by the flag corps, who “blend traditional flag techniques with innovative choreography to create highly entertaining presentations.”

This has been the best season of Lawrence’s career so far. Not only has he elevated his game this season with improved poise and decision-making, but he has also achieved a career high of 13 wins. Lawrence set a Jaguars record with 38 total touchdowns.
According to PFSN’s QB Impact Metric, Lawrence has a grade of C+ with a score of 77.6. Allen has long been considered one of the best quarterbacks in the league. He has an impact grade of A- with a score of 90.0.
