Who Is Performing at the Bills-Falcons Halftime Show?

Atlanta rap legend Jeezy will headline the halftime performance, Mercedes-Benz Stadium announced via Instagram.

This won’t be a simple solo set. Social media posts reveal a full production featuring Adam Blackstone, DJ Ace, Derrick Hodge, and The Majestic Marching Band. The orchestral elements point toward an elevated presentation designed for the national television audience.

Jeezy’s catalog offers plenty of Atlanta anthems. “Soul Survivor” and “Put On” capture his “put on for my city” mentality that clicks with Falcons fans. “My Hood” and other trap classics defined Atlanta’s sound during the genre’s rise. The song selection will probably focus on tracks celebrating the city’s identity.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium has become a preferred venue for such shows. The multi-platinum artist is returning to this location, where he previously performed during the Falcons’ celebration of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary in 2023.

That 2023 show against New Orleans featured Jeezy alongside Ludacris, who rappelled from the stadium ceiling while performing. The spectacle got fans talking across the league. Jeezy’s return shows how tight the Falcons’ bond is with Atlanta’s music scene.

The rapper helped pioneer trap music in the early 2000s alongside T.I. and Gucci Mane. Beyond his recording career, Jeezy has been a constant presence in Atlanta’s sports world, especially around the Falcons. Growing up in Atlanta, Jeezy watched Deion Sanders dominate at the Georgia Dome and became a lifelong Falcons fan.

His connection runs deep enough that he considers himself part of the team. Jeezy regularly wears Falcons gear and treats representing the franchise as synonymous with representing Atlanta. That authenticity makes him a natural choice for Monday’s primetime showcase.

The performance matters more given what’s on the line tonight. Buffalo enters 4-1 after their first loss to New England, while Atlanta sits 2-2 coming off a bye week. The Bills have been one of the league’s most explosive offenses through five games, while Atlanta’s defense has allowed the fewest yards in the NFL.

Buffalo ranks third in total offense at 395.8 yards per game and earned an A grade (94.4) in PFSN’s Offense Impact rankings, whereas Atlanta ranks 7th nationally with a C grade (74.5).

Jeezy’s halftime show puts Atlanta culture on full display. The performance connects the city’s musical footprint to its NFL franchise in front of a national audience, with one of its most authentic voices taking the stage.
