NFL Week 16 Underdog Pick’ems for Christmas Day Football Include Isiah Pacheco, Tommy DeVito, and Darren Waller

We have three Christmas Day football games. Here are our Underdog pick'em plays for the Monday slate of games.

Fantasy football is more than just the weekly head-to-head games we’ve all grown to love. On Underdog, fantasy managers can put their player-projection skills to the test by predicting player stat lines. Here are my top Underdog plays for the Christmas Day games.

Top Underdog Pick’ems for Monday Night Football

Underdog Pick’ems allows managers to predict stat lines and fantasy-point totals for almost all fantasy-relevant players. You can make two picks that pay out three times even money or add more selections to your entry for higher payouts.

The levels are 3x, 6x, 10x, and 20x, progressing with each additional pick’em you add to your entry. Let’s take a look at this week’s Monday Underdog Pick’ems.

Isiah Pacheco Higher Than 66.5 Rushing Yards

This game is tailor-made for Isiah Pacheco. He’s coming off a two-game absence, so he will be well-rested. Jerick McKinnon is out, which should keep Pacheco on the field for even more snaps than normal.

Plus, we have a great matchup for Pacheco against a Las Vegas Raiders run defense that allows 104 rushing yards per game to running backs, the seventh-most in the league.

When these teams last met, Pacheco ran the ball 15 times for 55 yards. I think he can do better this week with the Kansas City Chiefs home. This is a great spot for the Chiefs to lean on Pacheco.

Tommy DeVito Higher Than 26.5 Rushing Yards

In his last two starts, Tommy DeVito has run for 36 and 71 yards. Of course, that doesn’t mean he will necessarily run for 27+ against the Philadelphia Eagles, but it’s a good start.

The New York Giants are two-touchdown underdogs in this game. That means they should be trailing, and thus throwing. More throwing means more dropbacks for DeVito and more opportunities for him to scramble. Given what he’s done recently, I believe this is much better than coin flip odds to hit.

Darren Waller Higher Than 5.5 Targets

Last week, in his return from injured reserve, Darren Waller played just 42% of the snaps. Despite being limited, he was still targeted six times.

Waller’s snap share should be much higher this week, as he gains confidence in his hamstring. He remains the clear best pass-catcher on the Giants and should operate as the de facto “WR1.”

The Eagles allow 6.6 targets per game to tight ends. If this game goes as expected, and the Giants are forced to throw while trailing, Waller should easily surpass this number.
