With three viable tight ends on bye, the fantasy football TE streamers for Week 9 are important to note. As we stand here today, these tight ends are the ones that have my attention for the week ahead.
Top TE Streamers for Week 9
Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys (at Eagles)
With a touchdown or seven targets in five of seven games this season, Ferguson has emerged as the secondary option through the air for Dak Prescott. He caught an 18-yard TD down the seam in the first quarter against the Rams, downfield usage that is encouraging for a developing player.

Through eight weeks, Ferguson has proven to be a well above TE after contact, a skill we should see on display against an Eagles defense that excels at creating pressure with their front.
We’ve got four teams on the bye at an ugly position — Ferguson is a lock starter for me against the Birds.
Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (vs. Bears)
At the tight end position, you can’t ask for much more than his team actively trying to get him involved, and that is exactly what we have in New Orleans these days. Hill has a rush TD in consecutive games (20-yard score against the Colts on a direct snap) and has proven more capable of earning targets this season than in years past.
The Bears are a below-average unit on a per-play basis, and they’ve been as bad as anyone in the red zone since the beginning of last season. The matchup alone is enough to put Hill on the streaming radar, and the recent usage elevates him into the starting conversation in most leagues.

Logan Thomas, Washington Commanders (at Patriots)
For the fifth time in seven games, Thomas earned at least six targets or scored. He did both on Sunday against the Eagles and has proven to be a reliable part of this offense. The rub with Thomas in years past has been his health, and that remains a concern when looking long-term — but that’s not what you’re doing if you’re streaming the position.
The Patriots defense is viable, but with Sam Howell more than willing to spread out his looks, Thomas is going to get his chances to produce. His upside isn’t elite, but his usage easily lands him inside the top 15 this week, and I’m optimistic that he can be even better than that!
