Pebble Beach Tee Times 2026: Why Sunday Wind Is the Week’s Biggest Variable

Round 1 tee times for Pebble Beach 2026 plus the weather story no one's telling: Sunday's 20+ MPH winds could shuffle the leaderboard late.

The best golfers in the world tee it up in California this week, and they deserve a challenge.

They should get one. Pebble Beach is a unique course, so before you lock in anything for the week (DFS or otherwise), you need to be aware of the tee times, the forecast, and some final tidbits.

Pebble Beach Weather Forecast: Wind, Conditions, and What to Expect

The weather in California is pretty stable day-over-day and month-over-month, but you do need to be aware that any golf course on the coast (the ocean is the only water hazard on property) carries some gust risk.

At this moment in time, that projects to be more of a weekend problem. Thursday is shaping up to be on the cool side of things, but not in a prohibitive manner, and while there is a wind advisory now through Wednesday morning, it’s not expected to impact the first two rounds in a major way.

What the pre-tournament wind could do is firm up the greens that are already hard to hit, thus placing more value on those who excel with their wedges around the green.

Friday looks like a near carbon copy of Thursday, thus giving us a fair first two days as the golfers switch courses.

It’s a little dangerous to look ahead to the weekend now, but at the moment, it looks as if the sun disappears on Saturday with the wind picking up a touch. Sunday’s final round could get interesting if forecasts hold with winds touching 20+ MPH in the middle of the day.

That could shuffle up the leaderboard if it’s as tight as I expect, but in terms of building a lineup, wind play is nothing more than a low-end tie-breaker for me.

If the wind scares you, Ryan Gerard, Daniel Berger, Pierceson Coody, and Kurt Kitayama are some mid-level options that get a nice boost in value.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Round 1 Tee Times

Remember that we only have 80 PGA players taking the course this week due to the Pro-Am nature of this event. That means twosomes and gives some longer shots life, if for no other reason than there is a lower volume of golfers they need to top.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am DFS Notes and Key Stats

All information is usable information. Now, that doesn’t mean all numbers are predictive, but I’m a big believer in every data point being worthy of our attention, even if it is to dismiss them, so here are a few final notes to consider as you flesh out what you want to do for this week.

  • Par 5 scoring could be critical this week. Some of the sleeper names that excel on those long holes over the past 12 months: Jake Knapp (third best), Rico Hoey (sixth), Max McGreevy (13th), and Alex Noren (18th).
  • Big names struggling over the past two years around the green: Chris Gotterup (66th), Shane Lowry (68th), and Ludvig Aberg (70th)
  • Looking for the top 20 course-adjusted golfers? AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golfer Rankings
  • Collin Morikawa and Russell Henley are both top five in strokes gained total in signature events over the past two years.
  • When it comes to Pebble Beach, it ranks as a top-two course on Tour in terms of bunkers, small greens, and shortest length.
  • The best lifetime putters, in this field, on poa surfaces are Andrew Novak, Sahith Theegala, and Pierceson Coody.
