Wan’Dale Robinson has quietly beaten his cost in back-to-back seasons while barely being drafted at all. His price has climbed this summer as the fantasy community caught on. A move to Tennessee reunites him with the coach who drafted him and puts him near the top of a new target hierarchy. Fantasy managers should still find plenty to like at this cost.
Should I Draft Wan’Dale Robinson in Fantasy Football?
At one point, I was way ahead of the market on Robinson. His ADP has since climbed to converge with my ranking, which is unfortunate for me but entirely understandable. He was simply too cheap before.
Start with the pedigree, because it gets overlooked. Robinson is a former second-round pick who has never actually been bad. He had a slow start to his rookie year before tearing his ACL, and that injury dragged down his sophomore season. Ever since his third year in 2024, though, he has outperformed his ADP expectation every single time.

The receipts are easy to lay out. Robinson was essentially free in 2024 and averaged 10.8 fantasy points per game. He was a waiver wire pickup again last season and posted 13.6 PPG. That WR14 finish is admittedly inflated by an overall down year at the position. Still, the fact remains that fantasy managers got a WR14 season out of a late-round dart or a free agent acquisition.
Of course, he benefited enormously from Malik Nabers going down in Week 2. But even if Nabers stayed healthy all year, Robinson still would have been a useful fantasy asset. He was not purely a product of injury luck.
Here is what strikes me as strange about his current price. Robinson is being valued as though he is not coming off back-to-back seasons with 140 targets. Volume like that does not simply evaporate because a player switches teams, particularly when the new team has a thin depth chart behind its top option.
Although he may not see 140 targets again, Robinson should finish second on the Titans in targets behind Carnell Tate. He also reunites with Brian Daboll, who clearly brought him in for a reason. Coaches do not poach players from their former team that they have no intention of using.
The role could be narrower this year, with Robinson potentially limited to three-receiver sets. Even so, there are several paths to more. Calvin Ridley could be completely cooked. Tate or Ridley could get hurt. The offense could simply be better than anyone expects.
The math is forgiving too. Robinson does not need to repeat his 29.6% target share from last season. Even a 20% share should be enough to make him worth this pick, and that is a modest bar for a player with his usage history.

I am also not convinced he cannot be the most reliable fantasy receiver on this roster. Tate may be the more talented player, although Robinson could easily become Cam Ward’s safety blanket and pile up receptions in the process. Volume of that kind plays every week regardless of how the offense performs overall.
Robinson is my WR39 and the WR39 by ADP, so the market has caught up to me. He remains someone I am actively looking to take as my WR4 or WR5.
