Romeo Doubs Fantasy Projection 2026: Is the Patriots WR a 2026 Fantasy Football Sleeper?

Romeo Doubs never topped 100 targets in Green Bay and now sits behind A.J. Brown in New England. Is the Patriots WR a 2026 fantasy football sleeper?

Romeo Doubs has taken his talents to a New England offense that is undergoing some changes as they look to maximize their potential as long as Drake Maye is on his rookie deal.

There is certainly target competition here, but there might also be a ceiling for the former fourth-rounder that wasn’t likely to be available in Green Bay, and that has fantasy football managers interested in him as a sleeper.

Should You Draft Romeo Doubs in Fantasy Football?

Doubs spent four seasons in Green Bay without ever topping 100 targets, stuck behind a rotation that never let him fully take off. That ceiling is why his career numbers look modest on the surface, but give him touches and hope emerges, especially in an offense with this sort of potential. He’s found the end zone on 10.4% of his career catches, a rate that points to more upside than most give him credit for and something to hang your hat on.

New England’s hierarchy is clearer than Green Bay’s, but it isn’t uncontested. A.J. Brown is the unquestioned WR1, and Doubs is currently penciled in as the WR2, though it’s far from a firm grasp.

Kayshon Boutte is coming off a season with 16.7 yards per catch and six touchdowns, Mack Hollins caught a touchdown in the Super Bowl, DeMario Douglas has caught 72.9% of his targets over the past two seasons, and former third-round pick Kyle Williams remains in the mix. There are paths to lost targets, and that risk is real, but at a cost, you’re not assuming too much lost win equity if things bottom out.

New England brought him in to give him the shot at separation that Green Bay never seemed interested in doing, and that alone is worthy of your click in the second half of drafts,

Expect this offense to produce well over the first two months of the season before the schedule tightens down the stretch. That should leave us with a good feel as to who 2026 Doubs is: a valued piece to consider for flex decisions come the postseason, or a player who belongs on the wire with a dozen other WRs holding the same boom/bust profile.
