PPR Superflex Rankings: Joe Burrow, Jordan Love, and Caleb Williams Among The Valuable Pieces To Draft At Cost

Fantasy football doesn't always mirror the real-life game, and that has resulted in a spike of Superflex leagues out there.

Fantasy football doesn’t always mirror the real-life game, and that has resulted in a spike of Superflex leagues out there. Not only is this style higher scoring, but it places an increased value on the most important position in the sport, something many leagues have opted to shift to over the past handful of years.

Don’t be scared. This is a fun format, but it does come with rankings that differ in a major way from what you’re accustomed to and what most sites use as their default.

1) Josh Allen, QB | BUF
2) Drake Maye, QB | NE
3) Ja’Marr Chase, WR | CIN
4) Joe Burrow, QB | CIN

We are very much looking at the exception, not the rule here.

The top of the QB board is loaded with athletes that can break down a defense with their legs, a skill that then opens up passing lanes for them to exploit. Burrow is far from that, but his arm talent and supporting cast give him the ability to carry your fantasy team even without it.

For his career, Burrow averages 21.4 PPG when having 35+ opportunities (pass + rush attempts) in a contest, clearing 15 points in 82.1% of those games. The elevated floor that traditionally comes with the mobile QBs is very much in the bag of Burrow … presuming he’s on the field.

I find the end-of-season schedule more appealing than most as well. In each of the final four weeks of the fantasy season, Burrow either faces an elite QB (Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson) or plays against a weak defense in a favorable weather spot (at Carolina and at Indianapolis).

5) Bijan Robinson, RB | ATL
6) Lamar Jackson, QB | BAL
7) Jahmyr Gibbs, RB | DET
8) Jayden Daniels, QB | WAS

11) Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR | SEA
12) Jalen Hurts, QB | PHI

19) Nico Collins, WR | HOU
20) De’Von Achane, RB | MIA
21) Drake London, WR | ATL
22) Caleb Williams, QB | CHI

We know that Williams can be sporadic and maybe that ultimately costs the Bears an important game or two this season.

Williams is the most mispriced QB on the board in 2026.

Both things can be, and in my opinion are, true. What makes Williams a headache for NFL fans is the same thing that should have you, as fantasy managers, looking to take advantage of his current ADP.

His willingness to be aggressive is great for us. Either those plays hit, and the points pile up, or they go sideways in such a way that Chicago is now put into a position where they have to be overly aggressive, something that also carries with it elite fantasy potential for their franchise QB.

I’m not here to sell you on Williams as a perfect QB. He’s far from it, and the developmental process takes time.

What I will say is that a 24-year-old who has scored north of 45 points with his legs in both of his NFL seasons, in a Ben Johnson offense, that ends the season with three opponents that are going to require him to hang crooked numbers on the scoreboard (Bills, Packers, and Lions) is worthy of Tier 2 status.

Right now, he’s not being drafted in the same range as Jaxson Dart or Jalen Hurts, and that needs to change.

76) Jordyn Tyson, WR | NO
77) Chuba Hubbard, RB | CAR
78) George Kittle, TE | SF
79) Jordan Love, QB | GB

Like Burrow, Love doesn’t offer much upside with his legs, but the complete dismissal of his situation is overkill in my opinion. The Packers thinned out their receiver room this offseason and, for me, that puts them in a less-is-more situation.

Sure, there’s less depth, but I’m reading it as more concentration. Christian Watson

Highest Percentage of Passes Thrown Deep Since 2023 (min. 1,000 attempts)

  • Jordan Love – 23.8%
  • Caleb Williams – 23.7%
  • Josh Allen – 23.7%
  • Trevor Lawrence – 23.3%
  • Matthew Stafford – 22.8%

Why do I think he could win you your league this season?

He’s going to continue to chuck, and with the tightening of the WR rotation, we naturally get a consolation prize of targets. Tucker Kraft leads the position in PPR points per target (min. 50 targets) since 2024, and Christian Watson sits atop that list among receivers since he entered the league in 2022 (min. 200 targets).

The fantasy industry, right now, is drafting based on the low-end of his mean outcome, thus ignoring just how the ceiling has the potential to be, and Superflex situations are the perfect time to roll the dice on this best-case scenario in the high-scoring NFC North.
