Week 11 Fantasy Football Injury Tracker: Updates Include Bucky Irving, Brian Thomas Jr., and Davante Adams

We have reached the point of the fantasy football season where players are missing more practice time due to wear and tear. Understanding the injuries that can sideline key pieces of your fantasy lineup is crucial for prioritizing your waiver wire additions effectively.

    Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson was a surprising name on the Baltimore Ravens’ practice report on Nov. 12, not participating due to knee soreness. After practice, head coach John Harbaugh stated that Jackson “should be OK” during his press conference.

Jackson returned to practice on Thursday, setting the stage for him to play Week 11.

The veteran quarterback was officially removed from the team’s injury report on Nov. 14, clearing the way for him to play without restrictions against the Cleveland Browns in Week 11.

Joe Burrow, QB, Cincinnati Bengals | Out

Joe Burrow’s 21-day practice window opened ahead of Week 11’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Initial reports suggest that the quarterback is hoping to return to the field for Week 13’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, but Week 14 is probably a more appropriate deadline. The Bengals’ performance in the coming weeks will also determine whether the team activates or shuts Burrow down for the season.

Joe Flacco will be the starting quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11, but Burrow is worth grabbing if he’s on your waiver wire now that we have a return date in sight.

Jayden Daniels, QB, Washington Commanders | Out

Jayden Daniels has already been ruled out of Week 11’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins due to his elbow dislocation injury. Daniels avoided any major damage to his elbow and has a chance to return to the field after the Week 12 bye.

Marcus Mariota will get the start for the Washington Commanders against the Miami Dolphins in Madrid in Week 11.

Jaxson Dart, QB, New York Giants | Out

Jaxson Dart sustained a concussion during the second half of the New York Giants’ loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 10. As always, his progression through the NFL’s concussion protocol will inform our decision on whether he can play on Sunday.

Dart has already been ruled out for Week 11’s matchup against the Green Bay Packers, which means Jameis Winston is set to make his first start of the season.

Over the years, Winston has shown that he isn’t afraid to throw the ball downfield, which bodes much better for the Giants’ pass-catching group than Wilson.

C.J. Stroud, QB, Houston Texans | Out

C.J. Stroud missed the Houston Texans’ Week 10 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a concussion. As of Nov. 11, he had yet to clear the concussion protocol. Stroud did not practice on Wednesday because he was still reportedly suffering from concussion symptoms. He was also a non-participant on Thursday before eventually being ruled out for Week 11.

It is rare for players to take more than a week to clear the concussion protocol without a significant history of concussions, so it is fair to expect Stroud back in Week 11. Davis Mills will make his second start of the season in Week 11.

Brock Purdy, QB, San Francisco 49ers

Brock Purdy missed another game in Week 10 while working his way back from a toe injury. Purdy has been making more progress at practice, and his return seems imminent at this point. On Thursday, head coach Kyle Shanahan stated that Purdy would be the team’s starting quarterback in Week 11’s matchup against the Cardinals.

The 49ers have already stated that Purdy’s toe injury won’t fully heal until the offseason and will require management to get through the season. If he can avoid reinjuring it, he can provide a nice boost for fantasy lineups down the stretch.

Mac Jones has been a steady contributor for fantasy managers this season (16.3 points per game, QB18) and should be held onto (if possible), given how long Purdy’s toe injury has lingered throughout the season.

    Joe Flacco, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Flacco did not throw during the Cincinnati Bengals’ practice on Nov. 12. Flacco missed practice time before the Bengals’ Week 9 game against the Chicago Bears with a shoulder injury and is seemingly still managing that injury after the team’s bye week.

Flacco was able to play through the injury in Week 9, and there is no reason to believe he won’t be able to play through it in Week 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Flacco was officially removed from the injury report on Friday.

Omarion Hampton, RB, Los Angeles Chargers| Out

Omarion Hampton has not played since Week 5 due to an ankle injury. Pictures circulated from warm-ups of the Los Angeles Chargers’ Week 10 game showing the rookie running back standing on the field without a walking boot.

Hampton is eligible to return from the injured reserve this week; however, the Chargers do not expect to activate the rookie. That gives him an additional week (plus the team’s bye in Week 12) to get fully healthy for the team’s playoff push to close the season.

Kimani Vidal has operated as the Chargers’ lead back with Hampton on injured reserve and is set to reprise that role against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11.

Bucky Irving, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Out

Few injury situations have been more frustrating than Bucky Irving’s this season. Irving suffered foot and shoulder injuries in Week 4 but was never formally placed on the injured reserve, leading fantasy managers to hope his return to the field would be quick. That has not been the case.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ head coach Todd Bowles stated in his Monday press conference that Irving is not expected to return in Week 11 and that the running back has no timetable for his return. That said, Irving did log back-to-back limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday. He was officially ruled out on Friday despite the progress in practice.

The Buccaneers’ backfield will continue to be split between Rachaad White and Sean Tucker for at least one more week.

J.K. Dobbins, RB, Denver Broncos | Questionable

J.K. Dobbins suffered a foot injury in the fourth quarter of the Denver Broncos’ Week 10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on a hip drop tackle. Dobbins finished the game, but word emerged on Friday that he was seeking a second opinion on the injury.

On Nov. 11, reports surfaced that the Broncos were considering an injured reserve stint for the veteran running back. That suggests he has suffered a multi-week injury. Dobbins did not practice on Nov. 12 or Nov. 13.

RJ Harvey will see an expanded role as the lead back on the offense, but fantasy managers should expect Tyler Badie and even Jaleel McLaughlin to have roles in the offense with Dobbins missing time.

    Rico Dowdle, RB, Carolina Panthers

Rico Dowdle was a non-participant in the Carolina Panthers’ practice on Nov. 12 due to a quadriceps injury. Dowdle missed Wednesday’s practice before Week 10’s game against the New Orleans Saints as well, so there is no reason for concern yet. He was upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday.

The team has proven that they are going to manage Dowdle’s practices throughout the week to maximize his impact on Sunday.

Dowdle was removed from the injury report on Friday and should be expected to see his usual workload against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11.

Isiah Pacheco, RB, Kansas City Chiefs | Out

Isiah Pacheco missed the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 9 matchup against the Buffalo Bills due to a knee injury. The initial hope was that the injury was minor and Pacheco would be able to return to the field after the team’s Week 10 bye.

Unfortunately, head coach Andy Reid stated that Pacheco will “need more time” during his Nov. 10 press conference following the bye. That suggests he is trending toward not playing in Week 11’s crucial divisional game against the Denver Broncos.

Pacheco did not practice on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday ahead of Week 11’s matchup against the Denver Broncos. He was officially ruled out on Friday.

Kareem Hunt took on the lead role in Kansas City’s backfield with minor contributions from Brashard Smith and Clyde Edwards-Helaire in Week 9.

Chris Rodriguez Jr., RB, Washington Commanders

Chris Rodriguez Jr. was leading the Washington Commanders’ backfield in Week 10 before suffering a shoulder injury after just 18 snaps. He did not return to the game.

Head coach Dan Quinn stated that Rodriguez is expected to play Week 11, but his practice participation throughout the week will confirm his availability. If Rodriguez misses, then expect rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols to split backfield duties.

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, New England Patriots | Out

Rhamondre Stevenson has missed the last two games for the New England Patriots thanks to a toe injury. Stevenson did not log a single practice ahead of Week 10’s game, but has been a limited participant on Monday and Tuesday due to a Thursday night matchup against the New York Jets.

The New England Patriots elected to rule Stevenson out for Week 11 due to a short week of preparation. TreVeyon Henderson will serve as the lead back with Terrell Jennings (if he’s active) set to work in as well.

Garrett Wilson, WR, New York Jets | Out

Garrett Wilson returned in Week 10 after missing two games due to a knee injury. Unfortunately, Wilson lasted just 19 snaps before re-injuring his knee against the Cleveland Browns.

Initial reports stated that Wilson is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks to recover from this injury. Wilson was officially ruled out for Week 11’s game against the New England Patriots on Wednesday.

That leaves newly acquired wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, Tyler Johnson, and Arian Smith atop the depth chart for the New York Jets. Mitchell is worth a speculative add, but most of this passing attack is a stay away.

Drake London, WR, Atlanta Falcons | Questionable

Drake London did not practice for the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday due to illness, but was seen participating in practice on Thursday. London is on track to play Week 11.

The veteran receiver officially showed up on the team’s final injury report as questionable due to illness and a back injury, but there is no indication that he will miss Sunday’s matchup against the Carolina Panthers at this time.

Travis Hunter, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars | Out

Initial reports suggested that the Jacksonville Jaguars expected rookie Travis Hunter to return quickly once his stint on the injured reserve ended. On Nov. 11, we learned that Hunter underwent a season-ending knee surgery to fix his torn LCL.

Hunter’s rookie season is over. Brian Thomas Jr. (when healthy) and Jakobi Meyers will lead the passing attack going forward. Parker Washington is another player worth rostering, given his clear connection with Trevor Lawrence.

    Rome Odunze, WR, Chicago Bears

Rome Odunze did not participate in Wednesday’s practice for the Chicago Bears due to an ankle injury. Odunze has missed Wednesday practices in recent weeks because of a heel issue, and it is unclear if this is related to that injury.

Odunze was upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday, following the pattern of previous weeks. He is trending towards full participation on Friday and his usual workload on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

The second-year receiver does not appear on the team’s final injury report.

Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars | Questionable

Brian Thomas Jr. missed the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Week 10 game against the Houston Texans due to a high ankle sprain. Thomas didn’t practice at all before Week 10’s game, so his inactive status on Sunday wasn’t shocking.

Thomas was a limited practice participant on Thursday, so he is attempting to return to the field in Week 11.

There is a chance that Thomas can return to the starting lineup in Week 11, but it wouldn’t be surprising if he struggled in that game. High ankle sprains tend to linger and affect performance for several weeks. His practice participation will be crucial in informing fantasy managers of his potential availability.

Davante Adams, WR, Los Angeles Rams | Questionable

Davante Adams suffered an oblique injury in the second half of the Los Angeles Rams’ matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. He did not return to the game, but head coach Sean McVay said he could have if the game had been closer.

On Monday, McVay stated that he would be “surprised” if Adams didn’t suit up for the Rams’ Week 11 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Adams did not practice on Wednesday, but was upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday.

He is listed as questionable coming into Week 11’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, but McVay once again reiterated that he expects Adams to suit up on Sunday.

Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Arizona Cardinals | Out

Marvin Harrison Jr. was ruled out of Arizona’s Week 11 game against the San Francisco 49ers due to surgery for appendicitis. There is a good chance he will miss multiple weeks of recovery.

Arizona’s passing attack will continue to flow through Trey McBride, but Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch will need to step up at wide receiver to replace Harrison’s production.

Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Commanders | Out

Terry McLaurin is expected to resume on-field work for the Washington Commanders this week. However, head coach Dan Quinn made it clear that the team does not expect him to be available for Week 11’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

The Commanders have a bye in Week 12, so there is hope that McLaurin can return to the field after that.

Xavier Worthy, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs’ wide receiver Xavier Worthy was a surprising addition to the team’s injury report on Thursday due to an ankle injury. Worthy was a limited participant, so at this point, the injury doesn’t seem overly concerning.

On Friday, head coach Andy Reid stated that Worthy “tweaked” his ankle on Thursday, but was a full participant during Friday’s practice. He is expected to be good to go for Sunday’s practice.

    D.J. Moore, WR, Chicago Bears

D.J. Moore suffered a shoulder injury in the second quarter of the Chicago Bears’ Week 10 game against the New York Giants. Moore was able to return to game action in the second half, but earned just one target the rest of the way.

Moore has not participated in a Wednesday practice in weeks, so we will need to wait until Thursday to get a true feel for his Week 11 availability. He was upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday.

Moore does not appear on Chicago’s final injury report ahead of Week 11’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Calvin Ridley, WR, Tennessee Titans | Questionable

Calvin Ridley has not played since Week 6 due to a hamstring injury. Instead of rushing Ridley back, the Titans have taken a patient approach, giving him the Week 10 bye to fully heal. There is hope that the veteran receiver can return to the field for Week 11’s matchup against the Houston Texans. Ridley logged a limited practice on Nov. 12.

Ridley’s return would significantly cap the weekly fantasy upside of young players like Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike in the passing attack.

    Khalil Shakir, WR, Buffalo Bills

Khalil Shakir has been on the injury report both Wednesday and Thursday with a rib injury. Head coach Sean McDermott stated that Shakir has been managing the injury this season, but it has largely been able to stay off the injury report.

Shakir is trending towards playing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12, but if he is forced to miss, then players like Keon Coleman, Elijah Moore, and Curtis Samuel will become more important to the team’s passing attack.

Shakir does not appear on the team’s final injury report.

Chris Godwin, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Out

Chris Godwin is once again not expected to play in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Week 11 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Godwin has not played since Week 5 after suffering a fibula injury in his return from a dislocated ankle in 2024. Godwin did log limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday, which is a positive development.

Emeka Egbuka has functioned as Tampa Bay’s WR1 with Mike Evans and Godwin sidelined, but the injury has also allowed tight end Cade Otton and rookie seventh-round pick Tez Johnson to have fantasy value. That will continue in Week 11.

Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers

Romeo Doubs was the latest Green Bay Packers wide receiver to suffer an injury in Week 10, leaving in the fourth quarter of the team’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles with a chest injury.

The injury apparently wasn’t significant. Doubs did not appear on the Packers’ injury report on Wednesday, a development that suggests he should be fine for Week 11’s matchup against the New York Giants.

Doubs does not appear on the Packers’ final injury report and is set to play against the New York Giants in Week 11.

Kayshon Boutte, WR, New England Patriots | Out

Kayshon Boutte was ruled out of the New England Patriots’ Week 10 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a hamstring injury. Boutte was able to log limited practices on Monday and Tuesday but was ultimately ruled out on Wednesday due to a short week of preparation.

2025 third-round pick Kyle Williams took over Boutte’s role as a field stretcher in Week 10 and should have that role again with Boutte sidelined for a second game.

Ricky Pearsall, WR, San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall has not played since Week 4 due to a PCL injury that was described as “minor” at the time. Unfortunately, the injury has lingered and cost the 2024 first-round pick six games.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan has once again expressed optimism that Pearsall will be able to return to the field in Week 11. Pearsall logged a limited practice on Wednesday, a positive first step toward returning to game action.

After Thursday’s limited practice, Shanahan told reporters that Pearsall would make his return to the field in Week 11’s matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants | Out

Darius Slayton was not spotted at the New York Giants’ practice on Nov. 12 due to a hamstring issue he suffered during Week 10’s game against the Chicago Bears. He was also a non-participant in Thursday’s practice.

Slayton is trending toward not playing in Week 11’s matchup against the Green Bay Packers. He was officially ruled out for the Giants’ matchup against the Packers.

Jalin Hyatt would likely become Jameis Winston’s primary deep receiver, but the team did just bring back Isaiah Hodgins from the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad as well.

Matthew Golden, WR, Green Bay Packers | Questionable

There was hope that 2025 first-round pick Matthew Golden would be able to play in the Green Bay Packers’ Week 10 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles after trying to work through a shoulder injury. Unfortunately, Golden was ruled out of the game just before kickoff.

Golden was close to playing in Week 10, which means he has a good chance to return to the field in Week 11 against the New York Giants. Golden was listed as a limited practice participant on Nov. 12.

Sam LaPorta, TE, Detroit Lions | Out

Detroit Lions’ tight end Sam Laporta was a non-participant during Wednesday’s practice due to a back injury. LaPorta played just 75% of the Lions’ snaps in Week 10, but that is more because of the blowout victory than it was because of an injury. He did not practice again on Thursday and Friday, which is not a great sign for his availability in Week 11.

LaPorta was officially ruled out on Friday.

There isn’t another tight end worth rostering for Detroit if LaPorta misses Week 11. Instead, his targets would be funneled to other options in the passing attack, like Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams.

Dalton Kincaid, TE, Buffalo Bills | Out

Dalton Kincaid suffered a hamstring injury in the Buffalo Bills’ Week 10 loss to the Miami Dolphins. The injury was described as “multi-week” after the game, making it highly unlikely we will see him for the foreseeable future. Kincaid was a non-participant in Wednesday’s and Thursday’s practice. He was officially ruled out on Friday.

Dawson Knox becomes an interesting dart throw in fantasy given his rapport with Josh Allen, but more realistically, Kincaid’s role in the passing attack will be absorbed by Khalil Shakir (if healthy) and Keon Coleman.

Oronde Gadsden II, TE, Los Angeles Chargers

Oronde Gadsden II left the Los Angeles Chargers’ Week 10 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second half after banging knees with a Steelers defender. There were initial concerns that Gadsden had suffered a significant injury that could sideline him for weeks.

Thankfully, reports indicate that Gadsden avoided a major injury and is considered “day to day” with a quad contusion. There is a chance he can suit up in Week 11 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He logged a limited practice on Wednesday.

Gadsden does not appear on the Chargers’ injury report heading into Week 11’s matchup against the Jaguars.

Brenton Strange, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars | Out

The Jacksonville Jaguars opened up Brenton Strange’s 21-day practice window ahead of Week 11’s matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Strange has missed the last four games due to a quad/hip injury.

Unfortunately, Strange was not able to return to the starting lineup in Week 11 despite practicing throughout the week for the Jaguars. He will need to wait one more week before being activated off the injured reserve.

    Isaiah Likely, TE, Baltimore Ravens

Isaiah Likely logged a limited practice on Wednesday due to a hip injury. At this time, there is no reason to believe that the veteran tight end will miss Week 11’s game due to this injury.

He does not appear on the team’s final injury report.

Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Cleveland Browns | Questionable

Harold Fannin Jr. was a limited participant for the Cleveland Browns on Nov. 12 and Nov. 13 due to a hamstring injury. Fannin missed a practice last week with this injury before playing in Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

There is minimal reason to be concerned at this point, but keep an eye on Fannin’s status going forward. David Njoku would be a locked-in top 12 tight end option if Fannin misses Week 11.
