For many, Week 14 is the end of the regular season in fantasy football. Staying on top of injuries and scouring the waiver wire is more important than ever. Week 13 was relatively quiet on the injury front, but there are still several key players who were knocked out of action and could miss time going forward. Check out the players to monitor for injuries after Week 13 below.
Justin Herbert, QB, Los Angeles Chargers
Justin Herbert briefly left the Los Angeles Chargers’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders in the first quarter with an injury to his non-throwing hand. Herbert eventually returned to the field and finished the game.
After the game, head coach Jim Harbaugh said Herbert would undergo surgery on Monday to repair a broken bone in his left hand. Neither he nor Herbert noted that the quarterback would miss time due to the injury.
Herbert has a history of playing through injuries to his non-throwing hand (he played through a broken finger on his left hand two seasons ago), and he will have an extended week to prepare for a matchup against the Eagles on Monday night, which is scheduled for Week 14.
If Herbert is unable to play next week, veteran Trey Lance would be the starter for the Chargers.
Aaron Jones Sr., RB, Minnesota Vikings
Aaron Jones Sr.’s injury-plagued 2025 season took another turn in Week 13 when the veteran running back suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter of the Minnesota Vikings’ loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Jones has been playing through an AC joint sprain for the last several weeks, so it is unclear whether the injury was aggravated or worsened during the game.
Jordan Mason has handled the bulk of the backfield duties with Jones sidelined this season, but Zavier Scott could be worth a speculative add in PPR formats if Jones is ruled out.
Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams left during the second quarter of the team’s loss to the Carolina Panthers due to an ankle injury. Williams was able to return in the second half.
After the game, the veteran running back told reporters that “his ankle was good” and that he would be on the field next week. Williams shouldn’t miss any time, but if he did, Blake Corum would take on a bigger role in the offense with a possible role for rookie Jarquez Hunter as his complement.
Woody Marks, RB, Houston Texans
Houston Texans’ rookie running back Woody Marks went to the locker room during the first quarter of the Texans’ matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Marks was initially listed as questionable, but was able to make it back onto the field in Week 13.
There is no reason to believe that Marks will miss Week 14 at this time.
Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, New York Giants
Tyrone Tracy Jr. was carted off the field in the New York Giants game against the New England Patriots in Week 13 due to a hip injury in the fourth quarter.
Devin Singletary took all of the remaining snaps for the Giants in the fourth quarter with Tracy sidelined, and would be the biggest beneficiary of any missed time for Tracy. Eric Gray is the only other active running back on the roster and could slide into a complementary/breather back role for Singletary if Tracy is out for an extended period.
Dylan Sampson, RB, Cleveland Browns
Rookie Dylan Sampson has taken on a complementary role to fellow rookie Quinshon Judkins for the Cleveland Browns in 2025. However, Sampson suffered a calf injury during the Browns’ matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13.
On Monday, head coach Kevin Stefanski said Sampson is considered “day-to-day” due to a calf injury. If Sampson misses time, then veteran Jerome Ford would likely reprise his role as the primary pass-catching back for the Browns in Week 14.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Detroit Lions
Veteran wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown suffered an ankle sprain during the Detroit Lions’ loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving. Initial tests revealed it was a typical ankle sprain (not the dreaded high-ankle sprain) and that his missed time should be minimal.

Williams caught 7 passes for 144 yards (both season highs) and a TD despite losing to the Packers.

St. Brown was a non-participant on Monday’s official practice report. This is significant because the team has a Thursday night matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14. The veteran receiver will need to be upgraded to at least a limited participant on Tuesday to give fantasy managers hope that he will suit up Thursday.
It will be impossible to replace the WR7 in PPR points per game (18.2) off the waiver wire, but the Lions would need to lean heavily on rookie Isaac TeSlaa and Kalif Raymond (if healthy after missing Week 13) in his absence.
Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Arizona Cardinals
Marvin Harrison Jr. returned to the starting lineup for the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13 after missing two weeks due to an appendectomy. Unfortunately, Harrison suffered a heel injury late in the game, taking him off the field once again.
During Monday’s press conference, head coach Jonathan Gannon stated the injury was considered “tricky”, but didn’t provide any clarity on the severity or timelines for his return to the field. Fantasy managers will need to monitor his practice participation closely heading into Week 14.
Parker Washington, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Parker Washington started the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Week 13 game against the Tennessee Titans in two receiver sets. Unfortunately, a hip injury was suffered in the second quarter of the game. It is unclear if the injury will cause him to miss Week 14’s matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
Washington has emerged as the most reliable pass catcher in Jacksonville’s offense this season, but his role will primarily be absorbed by Jakobi Meyers, Brian Thomas Jr., and Brenton Strange.
