Entering his fifth professional season, Malik Willis, the 86th overall pick in 2022 by the Titan, is finally getting the chance to be start. Looking at his limited career action, he’s tossed six touchdowns on his 155 attempts with an impressive 8.5 yards per attempt. While it is tempting to extend those efficiency numbers out for a full 17-game season, doing so is obviously a dangerous math exercise that ignores the context of a small sample size.
Should I Draft Malik Willis in Fantasy Football?
The biggest hurdle for Willis in 2026 is his new supporting cast. Following offseason departures, this Dolphins team has next to nothing in terms of reliable WR/TE support. Thankfully, running back De’Von Achane remains an elite piece who can create havoc and give Willis a dynamic outlet. Ultimately, this profiles as a yo-yo situation where the weekly passing production will be maddening at best, but will carry enough upside to suck you in when you need a spark.
Because of that volatility, there is no way I’m drafting Willis as my only quarterback. However, as part of a late-round tandem where I can ping-pong starting responsibilities in a pay-down build?

I’m in on that strategy. When throwing darts late in fantasy drafts, we want rushing production for floor purposes, and we know that to be very much in Willis’ bag. He showcased that dual-threat ability by logging a combined 22.4 rushing fantasy points in his final two games with the Packers last season, providing the exact type of baseline required for a late-round quarterback flyer.
This is more of a best ball and/or DFS profile in my opinion. It’s hard for me to envision a QB in his first year as a starter truly overcoming the roster limitations that are in front of him in such a way that he is impacting our week-to-week lineup decisions. That said, we’ve seen these elite athletes put up massive single game boxscores and that’s exactly what I think we see out of Willis in 2026: a year of wild swings that can be helpful if selected at the right time.
